Also: the .410 'bore' is actually .410 caliber. The .45LC is actually .452-457 diameter. If I was determined to fire a center-fire cartridge in a .410, it would be a .41 Colt round.

They were made to fire 44 shot shells Steven's and iver johnson made em They were either marked 44cal shot... Or 410/44 cal. Use to use them fir dispatching snakes and stuff small critters in gardens

Does anyone know how to fix the ejector on a Taiyo Juki break action 12ga? It ejects low brass loads decently well but it never ejects any of the more powerful loads.

I would fire the thing remotely, with a LONG string. To safely fire .45lc, the barrel has to a .410 / .45lc. The muzzle I.d. Of my .410 is .395... I use .45lc with plastic sabots & .357 bullets. Accurate.

before the 410 there was a 44cal shotgun that shot a projectile filled with shot . the plastic from projectile notorisly stayed in barrel after shooting ,so it was discontinued,blowing or cracking the muzzle or barrel ...the muzzle was 44cal making it not choked enough for 410 although it would chamber.i have a straight 44 cal shotgun...take my advice and hang it on a wal to never shoot again.ie ''wall hanger

Don't shoot that 410 load through that gun. That gun is chamberd for 2.5" 410 or 44 birdshot only. You could regret firing it.

In rifle unless the bore is eatin out the bullet will not fit inside the barrel it will still have say 1/8 inch of the projectile showing. It’s a little truck we use when buying old mil surp rifles to see if the bore is still good. If the bore swallow the bullet it’s no good if it’s tight like such it’s good so I’m pretty sure it will shoot the 45 Lc just fine once the gun is cleaned up a bit

We done stupid stuff like that when we were just teens. But even back then , we had enough sense to clean our experiments , and brace the damn thing and use a string to fire it. Even when we were kids , we knew better than to do it like this fella. He either has big balls , or little brain.

i have owned many 4/10s both double and single barrel gt guns for small game birds like partridges which stay on the ground at night in a covey a bunch of birds huddled get down to floor level a few yards away shoot across the tops of the birds take a few out in one shot.Still very common guns in the UK the fold up come fully silenced fit inside the poachers jacket pocket perfect i used to use a hexaganol barrel 9MM shot gun small brass cartridges again good for small game birds rat shooting etc....gettng the cartridges is hard work so they became obselete years back odd ammo dealers still make them on request save yer brass every time with a 9MM rare as rocking horse sh*t
