I have the 1377 in recent times I acquired an old ratcatcher co2 rifle. I dismantled the rat catcher installed the breech, barrel and stock to the 1377 making it a .22. I had the gun checked at my local gun shop and using JSB Exact jumbo RS pellets weighting 13.43gr at 10 pumps he got 550fps which works out at 7.38 foot ponds. There was no tuning carried out on the gun other than replacing the O ring seals on the cylinder when I had the gun dismantled. The extra four inches of the barrel made the difference in power from the stock 10.3” which would produce some where near 5fps. If you haven’t tried JSB exact jumbo r/s pellets 13.43 you should. The crosman .22 seems to really like them. At 10 yards using 4 pumps it is quite easy to hit 3/4” spinners and silhouette targets at 20 yards I use 5 pumps on the same targets. At my age I don’t go out shooting vermin anymore so there’s no need for all that pumping up to 10 pumps. Any ways happy shooting. Forgot to say I use a Weaver challenger c4w on the crosman this scope I bought second hand about 1984 and it still performs well. Yes I’m done now, cheers.

The rifle pellets you gave me are pretty accurate also i love the Diana it’s so fun to shoot and the only gun I can shoot in my yard safely I like how that crosman looks with the 3D printed parts

Kinda made me think of something I do occasionally. A while back, I picked up a Hatsan Mod 25 Supercharger. It's a beast of a break barrel pistol. Well, just for fun, I shoot Russian exploding pellets at my mailbox, which is 32 yards off my side deck. They aren't going to hurt the mailbox any, but they give a nice pop and flash. They're like Pop-Its for air guns. I can reliably hit the back of that mailbox with them standing, off hand. That Mod 25' a pretty cool gun. It's a spring piston, but has an anti-recoil system. The barrel and action are made so they slide back and forth on the grip under spring tension, to absorb the jump of the piston. I picked it up when I found a ridiculously good clearance deal on Midway USA. I actually get a lot of air gun stuff that way. They have a great clearance / closeouts section, and there's a tab just for air gun stuff.

Mornin Travis! I have some of those coppers but haven't tried them in quite awhile. Might have to break them out. That pistol looks awesome with the Buck-Rail stuff on it.

That's pretty nuts because I've never seen a pellet review of any of the copper coated pellets, that have done well, until now.

Your dog reminds me of the time about 15 years ago when I was at the local lake shooting some sunset pics and accidently brushed up on a yellow jacket nest. Pain for about eight hours, then crazy itching for about the same. Well, a rare win for Crosman pellets:)

I never shot ANY copper pellets but after shooting the Rifle UX Brimstones 18.67 grain I would definitely like to try more! _I kinda wished you shot an extra pellet in the first group just to see if it would keep grouping since the copper pellets got an extra try..._ *With those sights and this wild flyer very hard to tell which one did better!*

i have the same pistol, keep it handy for critter control, you dog getting into the bees reminds me of a husky i had that dog loved to dig up ground bees, no matter how often he got stung he always was on the hunt for more.

The sights on the crosman pistols are so wonky

That would be my biggest and only complaint is the sights on that... If and or when you put the metal breech on it, they happen to sell for lots of money a heavy metal rear sight with florescent white dots on it... Problem is still finding the front sight... I thought I either read or seen somewhere that the Rifle brand is whom makes the Crosman pellets now since they changed their tins, could be wrong on that one... My 1322 likes the Hatsan VORTEX STRIKE 17.75's., which if I'm not mistaken the Apollo brand is made in Argentina, as well... But I also have to confess I polished my barrel... KEEP THEM coming... good stuff... Big C 😎

I've never previously heard of copper coated pellets giving good results so I never bought any. Just goes to show they can be worth a try.
