Warning: upgrading is additive, I once started with a steel breach, then Crosman stock then nice scope, then 14" barrel then a silence adapter then a Donny Fl, and It still needs the flat top piston, saying

That's exactly what I've been wondering for some time now! How did you know? I'm sorry Mr. Shoot, I couldn't resist. Do you have a Crosman stock for that gun? Put the stock on, flip over the rear sight to the peep sight and try this again. It will tighten up your groups. I bought a 1377 with a stock in 1985. The gun and the stock were blister packed on a piece of cardboard with the Crosman logo and gun information; no box. I bought it because of the stock. It has been my buddy for all these years. The stock has been on and off many times, but it really helps. Good to see ya'. Cheers! R, Steve

Disassemble the trigger group and pull out the safety bar and turn it the other way round. I am a left handed and it works for me. Also use a spent .22 cartridge over the sear spring and compress the spring to reduce its pressure. Polish trigger and sear touch points. Free mods that works and there is good community of modders for this pistol that I have used in the past. The steel breech and extended probe are a sound investment for this pistol not only for sighting options but also locks the barrel into position. Same with the stock little money and a leap in accuracy. I had so much fun modding my p1322 but be careful it very addictive. Hope all is well and keep safe

Be extra careful when you do the safety modification... Ultra small spring and BB that jump out and get lost across whatever room you're in. Slowly remove that plate and use good tweezers or firm finger hold

Good advice, I prefer the hollow bolt probe over the extended , they are hard to find now but Melon Air has them . I did the same thing with my trigger spring and heated up one end of the spring to break its temper and compress it slightly . The metal breech is also an important upgrade and you can get out of hand easy, I think your comment hits the nail on the head .

I just found this & if I may add. The 1322. & 1377 are very fun guns to get out & about with , I have one of each & the extended. Slide bolt & steel breach is a kick forward. , yes. & I kept my 1322 stock except slide bolt & breach. But the 1377. Went a good ways. , lots a small beast of a 177 pistol. But only pistol. No carbine stock on either . Just Pistols. & they are very cool & very fun , I agree !

Hey Travis, Thanks for this fun video. I've been waiting for you to do a video on this or the 1377. I would also love to see how you mod it and why. This is my future project gun with my son. We plan on picking up the 1399 stock or a side folder from Buck-rail, the steel breech with a Grav-mag, or a rail mount from Buck-rail and keep the plastic breech, a longer barrel,(how long depends on if we can fit it into a backpack), a gold trigger shoe and the gold muzzle break, and we're going to have it topped with a Gamo 4x32 or one of the extra BSA scopes that I bought a few years ago. Buck-rail has a lot of good quality aftermarket parts worth considering and they are produced by him here in the States. Also, he's a vet. Just something to consider when people want to spend their money. Big J of Big J's Outdoors & Airguns KZfaq channel does a great video comparison of scope mounts by Crosman vs scope mounts by Buck-rail. Enjoy your project. Hope to see you share the fun in an upcoming video. Also, if you do a few builds or buy different length barrels or other components, let me know what you want to use. I would like to help out when the custom/parts shop at Crosman reopens. Stay Safe, Be Well, God Bless.

Great stuff Travis. I don’t think you could go wrong either way with your 1322. If you keep it stock it would serve you very well, and if you grab a steel breach throw a stock on it that too would make it a great shooter.Me personally and because of you and your videos and info with Buck Rails with there suppressors I looked deeper into his website and found some really sweet looking products for the 1377/1322 and to take one of these pistols and toss one of there cans and Adaptors, A foldable stock, a Pumper Plumper handle, and then toss on a Scope of your choice would make one sweet little plinker and a very compact and super accurate Critter getter out in the woods on and or near your property. It would be light,Small, the ability to shoot it as a pistol 🔫 or rifle would be great.I checked out GTM channel on you tube Which is Gun Toting Minnesotan and his video with his 1377 had this exact build and it really looks and shoots pretty darn sweet. After your video on Buck Rails Suppressors and watching GTM channel I just ordered a Crosman 1377 and should be receiving it Monday and I am going to build mine like the way I described too you. I would love to the ability to still use it as a pistol 🔫 and a Carbine/Rifle which I could just stow and deploy easily and serve two types of purposes. All three of my recent purchases has been because of you and I thank you 🙏 I just finished building my Crosman 362 with a BSA Outlook 4x32 and a steel breech, and also grabbed myself a Daisy 880 with the Simmons .22 Mag like you run and suggested and they both are really darn cool.So for myself to have the 880 the 362 and a Pistol/Carbine setup would cover the whole Gamut in my opinion, but that’s just my thought.Anyways a big personal Thank You 🙏 for all you’ve done ✅ much appreciated from just one simple Man and a Subscriber of yours.Maybe my thoughts 💭 might help you out one way or the other.The owner of Buck Rails and his gear that he is producing is just plain cool and I have No problem whatsoever giving what little money I have to a Veteran and to support him and family would be money 💰 not only well spent but in my opinion a great investment into a great and clean sport of shooting and getting outdoors. Have a Very Blessed Weekend Travis, keeping Stock or going in like a Pistol/Carbine setup would just plain be cool and a sweet option to carry out on or near you property. Take Care 😎👍🙏

Good Video! I've decked mine out with Buck Rail side folder, plumper pumper pump handle (huge difference) and matching grips, and silencer/thead protector. Silencer works very well and the thread protector looks really good. I also have the Gravmag 9 shot and steel breech with a reflex sight on it. I have a flat top piston yet to install. But my current set up I'm really happy with. It's a ton of fun and easy to be accurate with that folding stock! have fun and trick it out, you'll love it!

Man , do go put a plumper pumper on it , I see you have pretty big hands you must have pinched your fingers or palm a few times , my very 1st 1322 I ditched after pinching my hand enough times , I got a blood blister from it and sold it to my buddy for next to nothing , when I bought one again recently I pinched my hand again but now know how deeply you can Mod these Guns Putting a metal breech on somehow makes it easier to Pump putting a fatter pump arm on mine completely eliminated the hand pinch issue and made it easier to pump . I also discovered it's quite easy to put a barrel shroud on it by using a 14 mm outside diameter 12mm inside diameter carbon tube over the barrel , on these pumper guns you don't need any kind of shims because the gap between the pump tube and barrel keep everything snug and secure, I have a few vids out showing it on my 362 and my 1322 if you care to take a look . Thanks again for posting .

I would love to see how it shoots as a carbine. That was great shooting from 20 yards, Travis. I wonder if 9 or 10 pumps would have elevated the JSB Pellets? That would be an unfair comparison, but I suspect it could have.

The steel breach and a red dot would probably improve the accuracy a bit...if you want a carbine, you're honestly better off with the 362, that's basically what turning the 1322 into a long barrel is anyway...steel breach and optics (scope) on the 362 would be more practical imo
@la2123

True but 362 is a carbine with non detachable buttstock. A fully modded 1322 can produce muzzle energy slightly lower than 362 and it's versatile!

The 360 doesn’t have a pistol grip feel.
@jasonnealey8325
@jasonnealey8325 Жыл бұрын
The 362 can't be over pumped without causing problems or even valve lock . I don't know how the 1322 did it but there is a guy who pumps to 25 pumps just to see the velocity. I recall he pumps to 17 times without retaining air after the shot he was getting numbers very close to the 362 which I also own . I think if it had an 18 inch barrel it would be on the heals of the 362 . By the way the 2240 pistol grip can be installed on a 362 with a strait swap then for a butstock you can use the crosman stock or the Buckrail-line adjustable.
@chemicallust77
@chemicallust77 Жыл бұрын
@@jasonnealey8325 You can by longer barrels for the 1322...but by the time you get that and other upgrades like the stock, you're already in the price range of the 362...so I just bought the 362 (it was admittedly an impulse buy, but I don't regret it)...I have the Buck Rail cans on both which makes them very indoor and yard friendly...the front sight rail on the Buck Rail can needs to be sanded down to be accurate (at least on mine), otherwise it shoots really low...just an FYI in case you decided to buy one
