Ive shot glocks for years. Shot ok with them but a border patrol friend of mine always preferred hammer fired. He has a p07 as his carry gun. I shot it and i was hooked. I shoot so much better with them i finally wound up with a p07 and 2 p09s. One or another is always with me. I wish i found these years ago

Nothing wrong with the trigger on the CZ P-07 , it's the person whose using is the problem. Some people need to complain about everything. Tell me were have you seen the perfect firearm? Trigger on the CZ P-07 isn't the same as a single action only or striker fire and all you need is more practice with the firearm. Grew up shooting DA revolvers, so there were little adjustment needed. For under $500 the CZ P-07 is a good bargain.

Really like the P-07, used as my CCW for years. Had to switch to the Glock 19 last month, sent the P-07 to JagerWerks for an RMR cut and some custom milling. Mcarbo makes a kit for $40 and with some polishing it cleans up that trigger really nice.

this video is the perfect example of (unless they're only for fun at the range and/or you have unlimited cash) how every gun is different for every shooter and every hand. From other videos (Honest Outlaw is just one you mentioned but there are many others) and the comments here, there are clearly people who not only like this firearm, but LOVE it, and trust their life and the lives of their family's lives with it. You've clearly had a different experience. Some people will cheer you, some will attack you. But neither is necessary. It's simply a fact that it doesn't perform for you the way you'd prefer. I actually found this because I just ordered one and it's on the way. I shot 20 different models of striker and hammer fired guns at the range over the last 3 months searching for what would be my first CCW. This was the one that felt and shot best for me out of all of them.

Im 6'4, 220lb with xl hands. Ive carried the p07 for several years now, thousands of rounds. Perfect reliability, shoots well, trigger certainly smooths out. Its not a competition trigger, its a carry trigger, and it's perfectly adequate. Your list of "needs" is really just preferences and thats fine. Imo the only thing the gun needs is a few hundred rounds behind the trigger, especially if yoy're coming from strikers, (and perhaps an optic ready version, although i do prefer a direct mill interface despite being less convenient initially). For well under $500 i have glock/hk level performance and reliability with the peace of mind of a hammer fired gun for aiwb.

You need to focus on slow, accuracy bullseye targets first. Get your sighting squared away FIRST before bill timed nonsense. Walk before you try running. I love the P-07 & P-09. Most accurate pistols I've bought on my 60+ years of shooting.

Po7 is one of my most reliable and accurate pistols

I try to love my cz's , however I just don't like how short the slides are. I feel as if in a high stress situation it would be 1 more thing working against me if a malfunction happened

Love my P07. I do like DA/SA pistols. The arthritis is starting to make it a bit tough.

The firing pin retaining pin doesn’t like dry firing the P-07. I use a number 83 O ring to protect the firing pin when dry firing. I use this on my 1911’s too.

P07 is a great gun. Your rear sight might be a bit out

I did a Mcarbo Trigger job...it's excellent now. 7.5sa 2.5da. I use boelube paste for breaking in.

Maybe it's the shooter and not the pistol.

Boss there is a Gen 2 out long time ago, you reviewing a Gen 1 that had flaws which were already upgraded through the generation 2 model. You need to redo the review sir when you get your hands on the CZ PO7 Gen 2.

Probably now more than ever. It’s a very midsize/ small gun. But I’m coming from a fn510 10mm. So theirs that. However I needed a 9mm and I knew you can never go wrong with cz. Don’t want Glock as thats what everyone has so I wanted something different. When the trending thing right now is edc small guns. This has always fit the description

It’s all Perspective & use case. I have a gun similar to p07, jericho 941 STEEL cz75 inspired just like this p07. It has literally a quarter of the pull & reset that this gun has. I’ve never had a accidental discharge but I don’t want a jericho 4lb hammer with barely any pull aiming directly at my balls all day even WITH the safety 😂 Mcarbo/cajun works package completely ruins this gun for me cause you can reduce it as far as 3lb-3.5lbs AND it’s aftermarket trigger work which I’m heavily against on a carry gun I might as well buy a shadow at that point 🤷🏾‍♂️. It ain’t my best gun but I’m accurate with the factory trigger. Light ass trigger I might as well get shadow or cheap 1911 commander which would cost the same after all the work is done. Or p10 like you said but I’d lose the hammer. If they update p07 ill consider it I like factory triggers for carry if this was a range gun I wouldn’t give af though Cajun mcarbo all day

I have the p10f, p07, and p10c. P10f is most accurate. Trigger of the p07 needs a lot getting used to. P10c is the most ergonomic. P07 and p10c are probably both of similar accuracy. I find rapid fire easier to do with p07, not sure why. I plan to use p07 for appendix carry

Never heard such nonsense with all those soft rounded off parts all over that gun with a high grip or a low grip really doesn't matter I shoot mine either way and if you feel uncomfortable what is it is it cutting your hands do you have lacerations all over the place now that are constantly causing you to bleed profusely spare me stop being a snowflake shoot the gun and be a man oh I digress that's the generation we live with now
