Makeup suggestions: Im originally from Northern Montana & now live in the southern part- still very dry & cold. I havent seen much content about cheek protection, but you need a barrier against the wind & aridity. Highly recommend the tinted products from lanolips, & the tarte juicy blush. They have extra protectant ingredients, tho the tarte one is just a happy accident. And, if petrolatum is too stickyfor your eyelid/underbrow area, a dimethicone gel (i use the equate version of monistat anti chafing gel, it's not anything related to the antifungal products) can be a game changer to seal in moisture & protect your delicate skin. Also, lip spf! Use it!! My lips are very healthy, i use lip spf once an hour or so. Never a trendy product, but DO IT and your lips will ❤ you. But mostly, cover your face as much as possible, get a fleece buff or scarf tied properly (hajib style is meant to protect from wind & aridity, that wrapping technique works well).

So I actually love the Merit blushes! I use a great setting spray and they last all day. I LOVE the formula because it sheers out and can be wiped away if I go too ham 🤣

This is the first year I've noticed my skin changing, I'm combo normally and love matte foundations but this winter I'm going more towards hydrating skin tints or foundations, just more cream formulations. The matte foundations just sit on my skin like you said, think after many years I will have to change my base routine. Could be winter but I think it's more perimenopause (I'm 42)! Great video as always xx

Rudy! I know Im late to the party, but would you do another eczema related video? i have had the same issues since I was a little kid, which was 2000 years ago, and am going berserk with it presently due to the super dry, cold weather. my dermatologist has a really long wait time for an appointment and kind of hate minute clinic type places. Agree about the southern US and the road conditions. i learned to drive in the area outside of Phila, we never had school off, and then worked in Chicago for many years, so for schools to be closed for a week is kind of amusing to me. (Kind of?) Got to admit the roads weren't always too great in Philly or NY or Chicago, since they'd have budget issues and would run out of road salt, and plow drivers who were on massive overtime- sigh. But we still went to school or work. x
