In this episode, I'm going to take you to FOUR thrift stores in search of thrifted home decor finds to resale! My mom, Carma, and I head out in search for beautiful home decor finds that we can sell, only to have to cut our shopping spree short. My mom wasn't feeling well, so we stopped at just two stores. A few days later, however, a Facebook Marketplace purchase would get me back out there searching for more home decor finds! The Salvation Army store here is reprehensible to say the “least”…. Goodwills most are, from prices to management,👎🏻👎🏻🤦🏼‍♀️you are blessed to have such great pickings… I hope we have some great yardsales in my area… KEEP ON RESCUING🤣👍🏻

I can’t compare to your mom, but I have suffered from double sciatica for two months. My friend is liquidating everything in her humongous thrift store. I went a week ago with a cane and I was in so much pain I could not even think. I got a few things and left. I’ve been back twice since and scored some great items. They sold the property that her husband’s transmission shop is on in the back is a humongous building full of stuff everything from measuring spoons, two jackets, beautiful furniture, beautiful glassware, antiques, vintage, scrapbooking, sewing, you name it it’s there. She even has a vintage singer sewing machine. CDs DVDs, VCR tapes. It just goes on and on. But that day I was not into it.

That snowman with the hole? You could have glued a bottle brush tree or something to cover the hole. I’m so sorry your mom wasn’t feeling up to shopping. I really enjoy watching your videos. I wanted to tell you that Catherine from the UK( she came to see you and you all went thrifting and Cracker Barrel) went on see Yvonne on GingerChicRehab. I told Yvonne about her coming to see you too. Yvonne thought that it was so amazing that she took time to come and see her. Said that Catherine was such a delight to visit with. Kelly, I'm sorry your mom was hurting. I understand problems with legs. Have had issues with mine for YEEEEAAAARS!!!! And I hope that Cuisinart works well for you. I remember some time back, when Debbie was showing her house, she listed the things she would NEVER BUY USED, and APPLAINCES OF ANY KIND WAS ONE OF THEM!!! I never forgot that!!!! Way to go mom! Love that you pushed through the pain to thrift!! I also have Lupus and 2 other autoimmune related diseases. You are truly an inspiration. I think I mentioned this before but just in case I haven’t, A mobility scooter makes all the difference when you’re having a tougher day but still want to get out and about. I love mine and I have painted and added transfers to make it fun. The only thing that I regret about it is that I did not get it sooner. I have been able to do so much more and participate in so many more outings. I thought I would feel self-conscious about using it but it has been just the opposite. I love it I get to go out and about even on my not so good days and I get nothing but compliments and smiles when I use it. 😁Missed and praying for you Debbi🙏🏼Kelly you have the best friends and family. Always love shopping with you guys😄

I’ve just found y’all and love watching all the things you find. Years ago Me and two of my sisters had a refurbished shop and loved going around finding neat stuff to redo also finding all kind of stuff to decorate with. We had a blast and to this day we still shop goodwill, Salvation Army and any others we can find. I hate that your Mom was having problem during some of y’all trips. I have legs issues too so I completely understand. I was watching this and I know I’m behind but that wire photo stand, also would be great to use as a recipe card holder too, also those Chunky white candle holders could be used for a plate stand for showers or get togethers, or a small plant holder ….Just a thought . Thanks for letting us been part of your great finds. Wish I was closer so I could meet y’all & come see your shoppe . I’m live in Ga so no plane ride for me. (Lol)

Enjoyed the shopping and all your great finds. I hope your Mom and Carmen both feel better and can join you next time. I think these stores should have a shelf for things half off that has chips, cracks and anything else wrong with them because people will not buy them unless they are a low price. Some things can be used for crafting other projects.

Thr blue transferware set is Currier and Ives. My grandmother left me her entire set of 20 plus all the additional serving pieces. One dinner plate is 15.00 on Replacements and the casserole dish goes for 89.99 and the sugar and creamer are 40 each so 84.00 for the set is a steal.

I’m obsessed with letters. I love them they can be wood metal or whatever. I absolutely love them. I have some in my bedroom and some in my living room. I collect PMC.

Good evening Kelly. If your mother is a coffee drinker ask her to do some research on mushroom coffee. You can add your own cream to it but it's supposed to help with a lot of things especially energy. Love your videos 🙋🙋🙋

Hey Kelly, sorry Debbie and your Mom aren’t feeling well. I used to own that exact rooster chalkboard ( it broke) and I thrifted that same $22.00 years ago, I also own the galvanized cake plate from HL. Oh my stars the animal heads are wonderful! Oh my I have a similar galvanized clock scale and the shelf with the hooks too!

OMG! Went to my Goodwill and found outrageous prices. Fenton for $60, a broken Lladro for $65 , milk glass for $60 and carnival glass for $40. Now, all were very nice pieces, but the pricing was ridiculous.

That was hard to hear your mom was fading fast. My mom's 79 and beginning to have health issues. It's hard. I am always shocked at the things you all find. We never find good stuff at our thrift stores and goodwill.

Some of those prices were insane. That is what is so upsetting about thrift stores these days they just want way too much for this stuff that was donated to them. There really are people out there who need to shop here but they can’t because it’s to much. Sad ❤❤❤

I picked up a shelf with the hooks on it! I painted my JRV logo on it and plan to put it in my booth with my JRV items i sell; stencils hanging from the bottom and my decoupage papers hanging in sleeves feom the bottom! 😎

It's an " E" for effort Carmen...lol...and I was thinking that most thrift stores have a wheel chair in the front of the store...too bad your mom couldn't use one instead of sitting in the car..then she could still be in the store maybe? I've had to use a motorized cart to get around a store on occasion when I wasn't feeling well... sometimes you can still shop and feel better if you can just get off of your feet...hope that she feels better soon 💝💝💝🙏🙏🙏

You put batteries in it and it's for essential oils.Like I use mine.Put peppermint oil in it.They say peppermint oil keeps the mice away and it actually does.I split it around my door jams coming from the garage and yeah, I don't have mice coming in anymore.So yeah, that's it where you put the essential oils.And it has a battery and instead of a electric cord , unless the cord is not with it

Here's a alternate use for tbe pla t stand you passed on. Large dog dish holder. Vet recommended to make swallowing easier. Just drop a doggie dish i side for demo.
