You know I love to hear all about the dominator, sure would like to see how you solder the ESC wow scary. I do not know how you reinforce those hulls it is so hard to see in there, I tried it, didn’t do a very good job. Looking forward to the speed run spot, stay away from the gators. I think your next boat will be a twin engine catamaran. Thanks again for all the great videos

When I reinforce up front in my boats, I rely on feel, I wear gloves, once I have the epoxy & CF laid out I use my fingers to make sure everything is laid out and flat, I also us a little dental mirror for hard to see areas.

i wish these would come with hatch knobs or something instead of tape. Tapes a pain for checking temps and changing balance inside.....As far as protecting from salt water, use dieelectric grease and brush a light layer on it all. should protect it for a while.

That's the thing, I used die electric grease, wonder how often it needs to be reapplied.. I had the xlx2 for about a year now, probably need to use the dielectric grease 2 -3 times a year?

Hey big b could also remove those aluminum trays on flood chamber since you don’t use them.

I removed them last season, to lighten up the boat. The reinstalled them this winter for turning ovals

I like that case for your GNSS. I noticed on other cases that the lights are exposed. Since yours is completely encased does it interfere with connecting.

I would reinforce the hull (antenna side, egde were lid rests on) with hard piece off foam. My first big nasty crash with dom my lid broke about halfway on that spot which makes sense since its not supported and therefore has most flex. It caused the tape to come loose and gulp in multiple liters off water in that one hit. Also curious if high rake prop on real high rpm still work (or maybe cavitate) or that maybe a lower pitch becomes faster. Going faster is what will happen for sure...

@@IRONCLADRC Yes, that's why i wanted to give a heads up about that. Don't want you to loose it in a possible crash... I use styrodur, it is a (constructive) hard insulation plate... 👍

It's not the canard. I was looking into those H&M canard opposed to the link I sent you, I think I'm gonna pick up an h&m sometime this summer. That's little 26" canard links looks like a fun project. Been working on the DRIFTER

Yo B. Load those up with dielectric grease, it will help. Little messy but won't hurt anything
