I love using Libby for my audiobooks and ebooks. I don’t have to pay anything since it uses a library card. Most libraries are allowing you sign up for a card online currently right now if you don’t have one or don’t want to go into the library.

We only buy clearance meat now and having to come up with different meals to accommodate the types of meat we got has really expanded my cooking skills

I've never used those particular produce storage bins, but I bought a set of Rubbermaid "Freshworks" containers from Walmart a couple years back and they are FANTASTIC. They keep stuff fresh for sooo much longer, especially fruits.

***DESIGN TIP FOR YOUR OFFICE*** Keep furniture and paint colors neutral. Use your rug, throw pillows, and a few decor items to bring color into your space. Those are easy and cheap to change out if you want to change them later. I grew up in a family of 5 and I always did the grocery shopping. I loved it and my parents hated it. So it worked out. I've been on my own for awhile now and I still struggle to buy smaller amounts. Its a working progress.

My favourite time to clearance shop in the UK is Christmas Eve, last half hour of shopping I have and vegetables and fruit free, turkeys for 50p, joints of beef for a pound. I've never gone wrong and saved a fortune over the years.

I have a serious addiction to audio books. It was an absolute game changer, then my hub got me wireless earbuds and I didn't think I could like audio books more than I already did. Yes, when Costco first opens it's insane, it peaks again about 3-5:30pm (I assume the after work witching hour) I am fortunate to live super close to one so I can literally hit it right before close, ours recently got self check out and I never have to wait. It's glorious.

Our son has recently moved back home , he works at a home food delivery and restaurant food company and we get Free things all the time , last week alone 7 - 2 litres of Organic milk that was on the expire date - I tossed it all into the freezer, 5 kg of bacon , 10 kg of bison sausage, 5 kg dry pepperoni it all goes j to the freezer . He has also brought home 5 huge boxes of scraps for our friends 15 piglets.

In the UK, we read Touching the Void for our English exam. Absolutely brilliant book!

I am certainly envious of the Fred Meyer discount store....nothing like that in Quebec. I do however shop at a super no frills grocery store where everything is near the expiration date!

My 10 year old son and I are currently listening to the Percy Jackson books on audible in the car now too! So good so far! We started audible at the beginning of this school year, and listened to the whole Harry Potter collection!!! We ❤️ Audible!

For your Brussel Sprouts cut them in half long wise . Cook off a bunch of bacon , then in the bacon drippings brown the Sprouts untl tender, then pop into a bowl, toss with creamy Cesar dressing , crumbled the bacon and toss in as well as Asiago cheese - Oh my they are soooo good .

I have a food saver containers from Audi’s and love them. I buy a 5 pound bag of carrots and can fit over half in the big container. The smaller ones are great for berries.

I bought the produce saver at Amazon and love it. Kept my asparagus and peppers fresh way longer then the peppers just loose in my produce drawer. I am doing a CSA again in my area this year and while that food last longer than store bought I don't want to lose anything.

I cannot express how I would drop dead if my local grocery stores had clearance items like this. Lol this is so amazing. What are my grocery stores doing, haha I walk by mine and it’s like random cans of seltzer and taped up cereal boxes 🤣🤣

Fresh cut grass is one of my favs. It’s my default go to when They don’t have new scents to try.

We ALWAYS go to Costco 30 minutes prior to closing. We get in and out within that time. Many employees have to stay after-hours anyway though, so even if we ran over it's no big deal.

Fun fact: pistachios are explosive. When I worked in commodity storage, I was working with a large nut farm in California that had 64 2,000 bushel bins. I couldn't figure out why they were had so many little bins and when I asked they said it's because pistachios give off unstable oils so they have to be stored in small volumes.

I picked up my life jacket on Amazon for about $30 and they had all the sizes. I also got my inflatable kayak for only $90 and it was a challenger (great brand!). It came highly recommended by kayakers I camped next to last fall. Score! I only spent a total of $140 for kayak, life jacket, and water shoes. Can’t wait for summer. Great video.

Awesome find in the .99 lb chicken!! I've been to our Costco about a hour before closing and it's a mad house. On the other hand Sam's is nice to shop before closing. We have 3 Costcos in my area and all 3 are always so busy. One day I'll find that sweet time to go.

I have found very few movies that do justice to the book. Water for Elephants, and Shawshank Redemption are pretty close and don't leave you questioning if the director has ever picked the book up.

Costco TP is amazing. So is their cheese prices, cat and dog food, and litter!!

I wrote to the company just to say thank you for for making such a great product and they wrote a handwritten note and sent it to me in the mail. They also gave me some coupons and a fridge magnet. Those quart freezer bags are my jam. I marinate my chicken for the grill. We are now empty nesters. So this is all we need. I also like to use dried beans and make them in bulk. (Thanks Insta-pot!) Quart Freezer bags are the size we use for that also. It holds about 1 1/2 cups of beans so that is pretty much the same as a can, right? I lay them flat to freeze. They fit perfectly in the rectangular locker bin for freezer organization.

I’m a bigger fan of the sams club toilet paper than Costco, but have both stocked. After last year, I swore I’d never run out again... lol! Love your clearance finds! Nearest Kroger store and Sam’s is 30 minutes and nearest Costco is about 50 min from me so I don’t fo too often.

Listening to audiobooks is one of my favorite memories as a kid. We'd get books from the library and listen as we did errands in other towns. Juliet Dove, Queen of Love by Bruce Coville was a favorite for my family. That and the Sisters Grimm series. Highly recommend!

Never go to Costco at 10AM unless you have a reason to be there (visiting the tire center or an optometrist appointment). Here in west Houston there are usually fifty people waiting outside, but now that they open at 9Am for seniors and first responders I'm sure they line up before then, too.

That cookies n cream Cheesecake Factory ice cream is amazing! Got some at my local Kroger (Cincinnati)few weeks ago. Didn’t read the label fully. I just read cookies and cream my daughter’s favorite. When she took a bite she made a horrible face and said it tasted awful. I took a bite and I think the heavens opened up it was so good. I missed the part on the label that read cookies and cream cheesecake flavor ice cream. My daughter hates cheesecake.... me ... I got a pint of ice cream😀
