Hi Laversa! GREAT question! My advice is that you but what you love and if there is something that you can't resist you get rid of something else that you don't like as much. I constantly survey my room for traffic flow, and clutter control. One big item is better than 10 small items. It's the small items that breed clutter. Sometimes we buy small things to make up for not being able to afford the big things but it all adds up. I go with the larger things that make a statement as opposed to all those things that sit on shelves and tables. I try to keep just a lamp on the table or just a few things on mantles. I'd go with a big picture or two instead of lots of items. The best way is to think like a primitive person in an old farmhouse. They wouldn't have access... When a room gets too cluttered it's harder to have a place for your eye to rest. I always pick a door or a wall where there's nothing going on so that my eye can rest. Hope this helps! I'll make a video on it sometime - it's a great idea!

Thanks so much for your advice! There are definitely some small things I can eliminate. And I do have a lot of larger pieces. I might have to make a few trips to Goodwill, to donate, not shop, lol. Thanks for answering!
