Hi Friends & Family! Thank you for watching our fun SHOP ALONG in Waite Park, MN (St. Cloud area). We love the SALVAGE SISTERS mall hunting for wonderful vintage items. This is a large multi-dealer mall on one level of 10000 sq ft and 50 vendors. Open everyday 11 am. It’s bright, cheerful, and clean. We had great fun and found wonderful MCM things to bring home!

We've always enjoyed thrifting for our vintage MCM furniture, lighting, dishes, and accessories to use and decorate our home since 2005. Our home is constantly changing as we find more fun vintage items at antique and thrift stores in MN and WI. Hi Kate! Congrats on being the first to comment ;-) I did feel guilty buying that Peacock, but we'll most likely never see something that CRAZY again, right? I didn't want to pick it up in the store, but let Norm carry it up front. So, I forget if it's a hobbyist piece, but probably, being that outrageous! I can't explain my nutty obsession for splatter or drip glaze. I guess we're both crazy about hot colored vintage pottery. It's artistic expression. No different than wild impressionist modern art. Well, enough of my excuses for splurging. I'm glad if you enjoyed this video. It's a fun place searching for vintage among all the repurposed stuff there. Have a great week ahead! Hi from Norm!

Yeah, Norm, we know you make Peggy steam!😅. All your hotness just generates her steam. I can tell by Peggy’s voice when a shop is going to be really interesting and this one was! I would have added the leprechauns to my cart and that red light fixture. Peggy talked Norm into the wild and crazy peacock and it is a beauty! Such a fun trip! Thought they were going to have to pick up Peggy and throw her outside.😂

We are usually surprised at some of the great MCM things that show up there among so much newer stuff. The hunt is fun. Our living room newest Lucite spaghetti swag lamp was from there. Do you recall the red one in the crazy front corner over the duck plaques? It was in such great condition that it was hard to resist and a fair price. It's always worth the hour trip up there because The Rusty Pick is only a block away. That's a large building of mostly vintage items. Thanks again, Diane, for your funny comments! Norm and Peggy: That peacock was a very intriguing piece. Was there a manufacture’s name on it or was it an individual created piece? Sitting among some fresh leaves and greens would make a great decorative table piece. Carol from California

I agree, it's an odd color scheme for a Peacock, but if it were more close to real, I probably wouldn't have bought it, because that would be more in blues and purples. Those colors wouldn't fit in our living room. It's a really CRAZY lamp. But we'll never run across something like it again. We hope you have a great week ahead!
