I was once at my local Wibley Wobleys with some mates I knew from Uni. We filled up on snoots and bloughts before I realized I didnt have bips, bobs OR bippins to pay with. So we all hopped in a rupert and gloucestershired our way to the front portal. Still have a laugh about it to this day.

When I was about 20/21 I was in a big tesco store, I'm guessing Wall art is probably closest you have to that in USA, there was four of us, it was a 24 hour store and we were there around 1 in morning I think, and my three friends started snacking on pick n mix sweets at the pick n mix section, I didn't as I dont like sweets well a security guard caught them and 2 of my friends ran off and my dumb ass didn't, because in my mind I'd not being doing that so I was like "why should I run I'm not guilty" so me and one of my friends and she actually had been eating from the pick n mix got caught by the security guard, and the guard was having a go at both of us, he'd mistakenly thought I had been stealing too and he gave us a proper talking too like we were lil children caught with our hands in the cookie jar, he gave me the worst of the talking too, after my friend was like thank you for sticking by me I know you weren't even stealing the sweets and I was like it's cool, a bit to embarissed to say to her nah I was just to dumb too run I guess xD

Nick is clueless about small business.

When I was in high school there was a shop at the end of the street. I'm not exaggerating when I say about 50 people would steal something from there every single fucking day. I had a coat with big pockets in the winter and people would just slip things in when I was walking around, and take them out when I walked out the shop. I rarely knew stuff was in there. No idea how the shop didn't report our school tbh because that shit was basically a syndicate toward the end. No one paid for shit there but dozens of people went in and out daily.

So fucking true dude

Nick has said the same thing almost verbatim in another episode and its really funny to see how much it clearly irritates him when people try to add a moral equivalency to shoplifting/stealing. Like he really gets bugged by people who don’t subscribe to his “everything in the world is exactly the same” stance
