War in american cities and neighborhoods is such a trippy visual to me, i guess it would just feel like the end of the world because weve never seen anything like that here

@@Sandhill1988 The definition? First world was/is the western block, second world was east block and third world was non-aligned countries.. most of this became obsolete when the cold war ended but the term stuck and is frequently mistaken for economical "status" or power of a country.

If the Feds or the Western Alliance are not fighting in town, then life goes on, so people living their normal life makes sense. The only realistic thing in this film is that the ones with the guns tend to abuse rape and kill the ones without, this actually happens in real life. In this movie the Federal government does not have an Airforce, Tanks, Artillery or even hardly any infantry. The first thing you will see in a real siege are government loyal tanks and checkpoints in a perimeter on every corner at DC. The CGI was poorly done with an apache firing hellfire missiles to hit a parking structure less than 100 yards away and making less damage that an unguided 2.5in rocket would. The director really failed on the shot where Christen is dead and there is a bunch of blank rifle casings (characterized by the end of the shell being crimped instead of having the hole where the bullet used to be on real casings) I guess they could not find any empty real casings. I was surprised by the absence of fragmentation grenades during the assault in the white house, the only grenade they tossed was a flashbang?? Why a flashbang if you are trying to kill everyone?

They did that already its called Red Dawn. But if this movie makes bank a sequel will focus on the western forces taking out the other groups until their is only one.

I remember people talking about America was at war in Iraq and Afghanistan, wrong,.. America was at the mall, the military was at war. People in this country see war as a news item that is happening in some far away land, it will be ugly.
