Ive used hemp bedding for awhile its great. I mix mine with the paper though

Don’t have Walmart in the UK but hemp bedding is used here although marketed as a horse bedding. We get it in huge bales and it is great value for money. I use it for my gerbils and find it great for odour control, virtually dust free and holds tunnels really well. I generally use it with hay and sometimes carefresh for a bit of variety

Your pet sections are huge! We don't have Walmart, but in K-mart and Target, our pet sections are like two small isles and you're lucky if there's 3 items for small pets. Its mostly cat, dog, and some bird.

I’m SO glad Walmart’s have started selling wheels other than those horrible wire ones! The igloos are nice too but in my opinion I’m not a huge fan of them because I prefer wood or ceramic hides for more ventilation and wooden ones double as chews!

My Petsmart has a few hamsters in cages and one cage was empty. They all had barred wheels and 1 inch of bedding. I saw one hamster trying to dig in the corner of his/her cage. There was actually one cage with a normal wheel and that was the cage where there was no hamster. There was also a bunch of critter trails taking up almost half of the rodent section...

Your local Walmart’s are so nice! My local walmart recently added a new reptile section which I personally like quite a lot. They also are decreasing the amount of fish they’re selling, which is good after all this time they’ve been selling them!

I got my 10 gallon at walmart. It's was 30$! True fact: in my local petco, a 40 gallon tank is only 50$. And a 50 gallon is only 60$! ( it's the same price as my local ikea detolf) Love ur vids! *Hamster emoji* Edit: My 10 gallon was for my 7 fish. The 40 gallon was for my hamsters.

Silverstone Buns 10 gallon is sadly *WAY* too small for a hamster even a robo or dwarf since they have a lot of energy :) And since you are commenting on this video I guess you watch this channel or/ and other pet channels and you will probably know that the 10 gallon is too small If you can’t afford a proper cage hamster isn’t right for you! It’s irresponsible to get a pet and not to take care of it properly it’s like getting a child you just don’t get them and then complain about not having enough for them💕

I use the hemp bedding it’s absorbent. It’s cheap too. We just mix it with aspen for some softness.

Wow, that Wal-Mart had alot of things for small animals compared to the ones here in Long Island, N.Y.! I guess in your state, considering there it may be more rural, there's a better selection.

Heyy. C: The marshals in my town has really got a good cat and dog section. My safeway also has a good section. But i can only get ferret and small pet items at walmart petco and other smaller companies. I live in the moses lake area

Lmfao I was at Walmart last week and seen most of this stuff!! All I could say is what about stuff for SYRIANS😂 remember hamster owners to price-match because you can save just as much money❤️

I use the Walmart hemp bedding! I think it is another good bedding option. I have always mixed beddings in my hamster's house (paper, aspen, hay, pine cat litter pellets and now hemp). I want to say that the hemp bedding is slightly less allergy-triggering than the aspen (not 100% sure on that).

I really like it. Mix it with paper and/or aspen since it is super fine.

The only thing my Walmart has for hamsters is a tiny cage that resembles a critter trail. One singular cage. It’s been there for a long time 😂

If you want lots of information from other educated rodent people, these are people to follow too: Erin’s Ark (hamsters and gerbils+), Erin’s animals, Victoria Rachel and hopping hammy. Gerbils have to be kept in pairs or more, please don’t ever keep one alone. And remember to do months of research before getting any pet. 🤗

I saw a new cage at Walmart! It was different to the one that you normally see there, it was mostly blue and was kinda spherical. Unfortunately, didn’t look like a good cage

My local Walmart has little papers on their fish tanks saying that they are going to make their pet merchandise section bigger and the fish tanks are going to be removed so I don’t think they are going to sell fish anymore which is amazing! Also I’ve already seen some new things their for reptiles which is what I’m mostly into so I’m really really excited to see what they get and I’m really happy that they probably won’t be selling fish anymore! Edit: I forgot to mention I like the reptile things because I have 3 snakes and I can’t wait to shop for them!

Woah it would be hard to Me to have a snake, I basically love most of the rodents so I had a friend who had a snake when I was like 9-10 so he said hey wanna see how I feed the snake? Me: cool sure! Son he just took a mouse he had on a box and he just gave it to the snake and I literally got a trauma and I cried for almost a week thinking of the poor mouse being slowly killed so idk how ur capable to like hamsters and snakes at the same time

ЯΣIMΛXIƬӨ it’s the circle of life. Snakes have to eat. I don’t agree with feeding live but some snakes won’t take ft and they need food. The mice don’t suffer, snakes are predators after all and know how to kill their prey.

Hey Pickles I have an important question, im getting my Ikea detolf in about a month and I was si happy till I realized I would need lots of bedding so, for Ikea detolf a 10L pack of bedding is enough ir you need more? (If you do how many L shall i buy?)

Love the video!! I’ve been keeping hamsters for years and I’m going to get a hamster soon, I got a 116 quart bin and I plan on making it but I feel like it’s still too small for a male Syrian hamster. Any thoughts? Or suggests, and would that size be ok

The Exotics Jungle 116 quart is only around 400 sq inches of floor space, so definitely try to get one that is at the very least 450 sq inches

Any aspen is safe because it’s _aspen_ but the quality varies among brands. Some dustier or more chip like than others. Since it _is_ Walmart honestly I’m not expecting the quality to be that great but it should be safe regardless :)

S’mores Slime make a bin cage! You can find huge ones at target for about ten dollars, and the mesh and zip ties only cost about $7. Super cheap and easy to make!

Mynti Girl see here’s the thing my mom don’t really care but I do but the one time my hamster chewed tru the water bottle which is plastic so i’m not sure if I can make a bin cage because I’m scared that my hamster will chew his way through

S’mores Slime well, then you might want to add more chew toys and things to do. Also you might want to switch it to a water bowl if you are worried about them eating it.

The bird section there is pathetic other then some of the toys the things there should only be used as treats o recommend tops for bigger parrots and Harrison’s adult lifetime for smaller parrots Though the mill it is a really good deal don’t give it to your bird often ma6be only 1 time a week
