Truly, I think it is our culture. There is so much out-of-the-way rudeness now it is astounding. I drive anywhere now living in a small town that has exploded with people in recent years… and I have people driving so close to me, passing me and cutting me off, doing the same thing you just described, and honking at me the second light turns green if I haven’t started moving. It’s getting serious. I try to be a considerate and respectful driver, but that just doesn’t cut it anymore and it’s instead seen as a nuisance. It’s really honestly, heartbreaking. I was a young person once, but I was very responsible and had a desire to express maturity. I am 30 now, and when I see teens and young adults now, I am just floored at the inexcusable, yet unashamed immaturity. I just bought the Almay sensitive skin deodorant. It’s basically dimethicone with aluminum. No fragrance and it’s like a gel. Kind of odd, but it works!

Four ladies working at Sprouts Grocey stood gossipping with each other as they were haphazardly checking me out and bagging my groceries. It took four of them over five minutes to check me out and bag my six items. Because they were gossipping with each other and switching off role between the four of them. None of them acknowledged me, asked me if I found everything okay, or wished me a good day. They were absorbed in talking about themselves and other employees. I will not be going to that market every again.

I agree about Sunday Riley products costing a lot for what they do AND how much there is in the bottle. I got the Good Genes and A+ to try and was amazed at how quickly I ran out of them. The glass bottles feel heavy, but the scant amount of product in the little collapsible bag inside them is miniscule. I far and away prefer The Ordinary products. btw the rudeness problem seems to be everywhere. It's endemic, and I sometimes look at people's selfishness and think, "where on earth were you raised?!"

I'm still grateful for just being alive, after a huge pick-up side-slammed my car onto high-speed oncoming traffic. The noise was unbeliveable! I thought I was gone. I turned from the approaching car with maybe 1 or 2 inches to spare my life. I pulled onto the side of the road & climbed out the passenger seat side, to not get myself hit by another car. Even more miraculously my little Fiat 500 was not dented at all...and the white paint left from the Ranger buffed right off. This happened just under a month ago, but I am still thinking how my responsible & defensive driving saved my life. If I had looked for the licence plate I would have been killed. Also if someone was tired, looking at their phone/ passenger, or had even one glass of alcohol they would not have survived. I was hesitant to tell my partner when I arrived at his home (as his brother had been killed in a car accident), but decided that it was best to be honest. 👱🏻‍♀️❤️🚙

By far the safest and most effective way to clean your ears is the same way your ENT doctor does it in the office: Buy one of the plastic squeeze bottles with a long spout, like the ones used for ketchup and condiments in restaurants. Fill the bottle with warm water, insert the spout a little way into your ear, and gently squeeze it. Repeat a few times until you see ear wax come out. The wax may be soft looking or it may come out in hard clumps. I keep my bottle in the shower but you can do it leaning over your sink as well. It feels great and your ears will be squeaky clean!

During the warm months, we have 2 (what we think are) ghekos who hang out under our front porch. On sunny days, one or the other of them will be out sunning. One is striped, one isn't but has a red head. They're so little & kinda cute. They are very skittish. As soon as they sense someone coming out the front door or near the porch, they dive under the porch. Bless your heart for capturing the little lizard & freeing it outside. So many people don't seem to have a bit of common sense. Sorry you had to experience that, Andrea.

I need to go by Big Lots tomorrow after work. I found a good moisturizer that's similar to Neutrogena hydro gel for under $10 & need another one. They have nice seasonal decor & their candles are good! I could use some fall to distract me from this heat! Its definitely a better shopping experience at Big Lots.

I agree about the long nails. I get mine done acrylic/gel because it’s convenient, but I can’t stand the length either, so I always have them done just past my fingertips. Then for 2 weeks I don’t have to do anything with them, and they’re not so long that I can’t stand them.

Have to admit, I LOVE the Sunday Riley retinol oil. I've only gotten minis of it with my Sephora points because the price is hard to swallow but I will probably shell out for the full size eventually. I truly think it's that good.

Cyclopentasiloxane, Butane, Aluminium Chlorohydrate, Propylene Carbonate, Quatermium-18 Bentonite, Isopropyl Myristate, Disodium EDTA, BHT, Calcium Sodium Phosphosilicate (Biosorb™ Crystals) (And) Mica. I disagree with the Qtip narrative. I think that is all a giant myth. My father was in a nursing home and I took care of him every single day and I cleaned his ears by looking in and using the Qtip. His audiologist did an exam and said his ears were the cleanest of all his patients. I was diligent in keeping him clean and I was gentle.

Chronic pain is so difficult to deal with. I’ve been a hairstylist since I was 17 and I turned 34 in February. My neck and back are starting to truly become detrimental to my quality of life. I know I shouldn’t use Tylenol and other pain relievers too much so I try to just stick with anti-inflammatory teas and supplements but it’s still a lot to deal with. Hopefully my new doctor I’m meeting with in September will be able to give me some solutions. 🤞🏻

I am much older than you, but I have severe cervical stenosis & back issues. I go to a spine & pain management facility. The docs are very helpful. Also physical therapy can help. It is time consuming to go, so maybe the PT therapist or Dr. could give you a sheet with specific exercises you could do at home, on your own time. If insurance is issue there are some good utube channels that show you some good exercises. Hope this helps. You are young, I hope you can get some relief and stay ahead of pain, before you get older. Best of luck with your new dr.

So true ! I saw that in the list of the rudest countries, America comes in #6, and I bet we're higher on the list by now. And with this rudeness, often violence is mixed in. People are just unhappy, and have been for decades. Life is harder,so it's worse today. I sure do miss the sixties and seventies. I often wish I had access to a time machine, seriously ! 😂
