I agree! I’m an xray tech and when I have an older patient that can move freely without pain I always ask what their secret is. Nine times out of ten they say, “keep moving!” At 50, I’m realizing that, that could not be more true! 🙂

I love how you always remind us that we just need to be gentle with our skin and that simply cleansing can be enough exfoliation. Its nice to have a reminder that we don't have to scrub it like we're trying to clean a pot. It's a reminder that we should not treat our skin like our enemy but instead be gentle and kind with it. I always enjoy your videos but your vlogs are my favorite!

I had LASIK surgery last year and I have not regretted it for a minute! I had always thought my correction was not that severe, but when my contacts became so uncomfortable I just couldn't stand it. I didn't want to go to glasses full time, so I decided to give it a go. Besides divorcing my ex (and marrying my now husband), it was the best decision for me!

I had LASIK surgery 22 years ago. I still have perfect vision for distance. I need glasses for reading but that is the rest of a large correction plus age. I was wearing contacts or very thick tri focals and hated both. One of the best things I ever did.

I have severely dry eyes and even though I have more than -6 prescription in far sightedness, they said I wasn't a good candidate 😭 i want so badly to get it since im so blind!!

@@sarahu5217 I am 66. I was lucky enough to have been doing Monovision with my contacts for over 20 years. I wore a close up lens in my right eye and a distance lens in my left. The Drs corrected my eyes that way. No readers!

Happy saturday dr Dray! I’ve been watching since 2017-18, it’s amazing how your vlogs never gets old. I love to workout as well, at 36 weeks pregnant I believe it’s why I feel amazing. I take long walks as I’m not able to run at the moment, and do yoga & pilates. Also, in Sweden where I live many companies lets their employees workout at working hours. I have one hour every week and also get an amount of money every year to buy gym cards or other activities. ❤️

Hello. So that charger that the tow guy had - you can get a dewalt one for less than a $100 at Costco. I’m a woman and I have one in each of my cars. You mentioned deadly heat, I’m in South Dakota where we have deadly cold so it’s a must. Hope that helps. Enjoying your channel - thanks for all the great info.

I have the HALO Bolt Ultimate it will jump start my car if needed. Also is a air compressor if I need air in my tires. It has a light, AC plug and usb ports on it and the chart lasts a long time. I love it and it’s so easy to use. I highly recommend for any female or teen. I got it on QVC and it’s one of the best purchases ever!

I live in a “winter” city and winter is very hard on batteries. You have to plug in your battery in the really cold weather. You have to turn off your A/C in the summer months. Both actions will help your battery life. Save yourself a lot of emergency angst and get a full point inspection every year. I had a full emergency plan with a manufacturer with one of my vehicles. It was about half the price of AMA and they would dispatch the first available emergency service company. Anyway, thank you for all of your skincare advice and your endearing sense of practicality and humour. Have a great Saturday ❤

I have learned so much about the skin from you. Thank you for everything you do to educate your listeners. Dr. Dray, I have been wearing contacts for years, and now that I'm older, my eye Dr. says the same for me, my eye site is better as well. I also had a dead battery and my AAA guy came with this thing that looked like a cell phone and started my car with it. I was amazed that it was that small.

I just used my Halo on my car two days ago for a dead battery! We walked out of the grocery store and dead battery! 30 seconds later my car was started. The guy parked in front of me had to find out all about my Halo after watching that - especially since it’s covered in flower print- lol! Yay! for the Halo and watch out for a great deal on it at QVC! Oh and don’t forget it’s got two USB ports for devices and a flashlight on the end, plus an AC port. I always have one in every vehicle. Holds a charge for months.

My vision has improved so much when I changed my diet to no/low sugar, increasing exercise-eliminating my pre diabetes. Yes, I have a portable power pack jumper, haven’t had to use it yet, but I got it because I’m wary of asking strangers for help. I don’t live in Andy Griffith’s Mayberry!

Dr. Dray, please buy a Halo car charger for your car. You can hook it up to your battery, push a button and your battery is charged in about 10 seconds. You don’t need a second vehicle. I’ve used mine on my car a few months ago and on someone’s car in the Costco parking lot more recently. Works great!

My transmission went while I was driving between Dallas and Houston. In the middle of July. Middle of the day. With a brachycephalic dog in the car with me. AAA told me that it would be 3 hours for someone to get out to me. I called Nissan Roadside Assistance. They treated it like an emergency and had someone to me within 30 minutes. Even that was uncomfortable. The heat here is no joke!

I have oily skin that is very easy to dehydrate so I use cleansers for dry skin (twice a day) and moisturizers for oily skin. A good serum and a moisturizing sunscreen is all I need and I never use exfoliants.

I think your car battery stood up well to the elements, not a bad lifespan, living in the UK weather here is often times cold and damp, not a good combo either😆 never go anywhere without jump leads!!

You can get an emergency jump battery at a store like autozone but you need to make sure the battery you’re getting can hold enough power to jump your specific vehicle type (some cars have bigger power needs than others).

@@gypsygirl9 LOL. Dr. Dray has a video on it. It's reddish-brown patches on side of neck and/or upper chest due to long-term sun exposure/damage. For some people (myself included) it can cause miserable itching and burning. No fun!

Pick up the car battery charger at Costco. It also acts as a portable battery for storms. I got one during a Florida tax holiday, just in case.❤ I was very fortunate when I worked in an office that we allowed 90 min lunches to have enough time to work out and then we just would stay later or come in early.

Some derms and other skincare folks say there's no need to "remove" the products from the night before since they've mostly been absorbed. But it's understood it's a matter of personal preference and what works best for the individual.

Dry eye makes such a difference in nearsightedness that I have 2 different prescription strength reading glasses--one for when my Sjogren's eyes are super-dry and one for when the dryness is under better control. Using Refresh PM ointment (sterilized mineral oil + white petrolatum) really helps, too. Dry eye is no joke, and by the time they *feel* dry, the surface of the eye is pretty frazzled and scattering light rays all over, hazing your vision--especially in lower-light conditions.

We have a Jump Starter and it's great for starting the battery by yourself. That being said I tried nursing a battery for awhile and it just wasn't practical since the car wasn't being driven often enough to retain a charge. When I realized the battery was nearly 5 years old I decided to replace it. Now it reliably starts and I don't need to worry about it. I'll be selling the car soon so I'll have one less car to maintain.

Try to take the cap off at the bottom I think it might work better to get the last little bit out I do that a lot with products when it’s low

The la roche posay cicaplast gel is a winner for me. It is great for oily but sensitive skin if you have skin irritation! The cicaplast balm is better for dry skin. Bot both are great products.
