@@guilhermecastro9893 they wont work in a real fight. Who goes for a wrist submission when arm bars are a thing and if I had them pinned on the ground ill just go for a kimura cause at least then I guarantee a clean break. Cmon now i love kenpo but they need other forms of submission in the curriculumn because the elbow and wrist style of submission just isnt enough. Its enough to the extent that it doesnt deal too much harm for the person which on the philosophical side aligns with kenpos whole idea but in practice when youre out for a real fight then more force is needed than threatening a wrist sprain 😅

@@dave.8 thats where you are wrong and you clearly dont practice shorinji kempo, we use pressure points and the bodys natural mobility to do submissions its more effective then brute strength, if you find some one strongwr then you then brute strength wont cut it, there are certain holds and throws that deal not only alot of pain but they cam hold an opponent down for as long as you want, its a martial art designed for self defence so you saying it doesnt work is moronic

It's Embu, like a kata performed by two or three contenders instead of individually. But they decide the moves themselves.

It's called Shorinji Kempo. There are different styles of Kempo, and there's also Kenpo (with "n", not "m"). It just means "Martial art".
