This happened to me in Korea connecting flight to Japan! 10hr layover in korea l didnt miss my flight, but l was so shocked l stayed in The airport. It was 1998..travel was different...no smartphone! nightmare!

Purchasing flight ticket from the airport is very expensive. I think it applies to alot other countries too. Hope your next journey is safe. Most bookings will usually show the 24 hour format. 0300 is 3am. 1500 is 3pm. If you are flying to another time zone, you gonna watch out for the difference in time zone as well. Have to be really careful when making booking. And the check in timing can also be different for different countries as well. Singapore's one is usually 2-3 hours. Some other places might be 4 hours. And you need to take in account the travel time to airport depending on that country's traffic situation. I once missed a flight too in the 2005? when I was in Bangkok Thailand. Had to check into a hotel again and then take the next day flight.

I'm sorry the ending of your visit to my country was bad. No refund if u missed your flight be it International or domestic. I think this is an International practice. Anyway you made a right decision to go to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But be careful with your belongings. Don't take safety for granted. Enjoy Malaysia!!
