@@trevinwelsh3074 okey... i gona stop you roght there chief. First, the sleeping animal is an easy to teeat, it wont move and it wont be crazy, so is safer if it is sleeping. Second, it is easier to snap and sew when the body is relaxed and everything is in place. Third, grab an animal balls and then tell me if they dont feel pain.

Actually, I think why the doctor is passionate about his job is because 80% of kittens are born on the street. It’s VERY important to spay or neuter your outdoor cats, and doing a ‘Catch, Neuter, Release’ is what lots of places do to stray cats! It helps cats :>

I feel like there should be other methods than castrating animals. funny how we don't use the word castrating to describe it, but that's exactly what it is. those organs serve functions other than reproduction. we have technology. surely we can figure out how to prevent reproduction without ripping out their organs.

@@Rin-qj7zt well it's better than mass euthanizing. And doing nothing is would be an even worse situation for the cats. Instead of thousands of cats dying (hopefully) painless death, you would get thousands of cats slowly starving to death as over population leads to over consumption of the natural food supply. And yes it is in theory possible for there to be a balance, but cats are _very_ prolific hunters and more often then not wipe out food supply before it is able to recover. Cats aren't suppose to be were 99% of them are found. This is our fault, well our less informed ancestors', but you get the idea. It would be nice if a better solution was found. But until then, neutering causes the smallest reduction in quality of life for the animal. We can't exactly prescribe contraceptives to them. Another thing: I can't say for sure, but I'd be willing to bet we don't use the word "castrate" because that's more specific to males. Females don't have testicles to remove. "Neutering" is just a more general term. I could be wrong on this.

@@Rin-qj7zt that’s true- and one solution would be to keep you cat fully indoors. but this video shows the cats awake and tied down a certain way during surgery. Good vets who do CNR put the kitty asleep and give the cats comfort

that being said, for anymore who may concerned after this short: everybody please spay/neuter your cats, it greatly improves their quality of life, prevents certain health problems, and can solve some behavioral issues. there are millions of stray and feral cats in the world, and things like TNR programs help to drastically decrease the number of homeless animals out there. Just, obviously, don't get THIS doctor to do it >.>

That veterinarian was creepy right from the start, and the fact that he didn't attempt to administer anesthetics is quite alarming. Aside from that, the animation was excellent in my opinion.

(Forgive me for reading too far into an animation) I think escaping from the doctor was the best case scenario, even if the result ended the same. It seems like the doc was comfortable with performing malpractice on strays, but since King was a patient in the ending the doctor would've had to (I assume) follow proper medical procedure with the neutering. It's one thing to practice medicine as a hobby, it's another thing to perform malpractice under a client's unknowing lack of consent.

To be honest, I've had surgeons who seemed to enjoy their job a little bit too much. They were very enthusiastic about pushing needles into me and showing me pictures of what they cut out of me. They did a great job though.

This is terrible, it makes getting animals spayed or neutered look inhumane. Getting pets fixed is really important because unwanted kittens and puppies on the streets only cause more issues. Getting strays fixed helps with over population.

There's so many irrationalities it spoils it for me 😑 - the doctor seems to be a psychopath despite doing the charity work of neutering stray animals?? - what kind of doctor puts sleep pills to the food to catch a small animal like that? Could be fatal. - Where was the doctor going, leaving two?? cats under anesthesia at the same time and also having the plan to start surgery straight away on the third one without checking out its anesthesia? - how did the black cat get into the room with the collar? It's so restrictive to cats that it literally needed all doors to be open to it. - How did it open the binds of the purple cat with the collar on? I doubt it would've even been able to get into the table the collar on, let alone see how the purple cat was tied up. - Who brings a cat to the vet without the cage? - The sound effects were a bit irritating, as well as the noises the cat made. - The art was interesting tho.

Well considering the cats have human teeth, human mannerisms, and make cartoon noises i think the rest is easy to ignore for most. The opening scene sets up the rules of the world being one that is not a 1:1 with our own, but similar enough to relate to.
