Making Weird Art | Start a New Sketchbook With Me

11 күн бұрынIn this video, I'm embracing the freedom of the creative imagination and drawing whatever flows from my hand to the pencil. What results is something a bit unordinary, some might even say weird. At any rate, I'm practicing new skills that I hope to use to create a series of larger works, with the goal of a solo exhibition some time this fall.
I've recently rekindled my love of writing/making music, so this video (and my last) feature music created by me! I might start making the songs I write available soon.

This is beautiful work. I wish I could get off the habit of being addicted to my references too! I really like the way you mix a watercolor feel with graphite, it's just so interesting to look at. Anyway, cool video!

Such kind words, thank you!! I definitely love references, they’re at the core of how I taught myself to draw. But these have been a nice exercise for my imagination with pretty neat results 🤓
