These cars are awesome, they have very capable engines and can stick with a WRX from a roll at about half the price. If you get the Stage-1 tune package with headers and ported intake from RRM or piece it together yourself and have it tuned, you can see 200hp. Thats not even scratching the surface of the mods available for the cg and ch lancers either.

@dublistener Yes you're right. I'm a Senior in high school and I'd love this car. It's not an "over expensive" car plus it's a sedan which cuts down on insurance. It may not look as tough as the newer Lancers, but it still has enough hp to turn some heads and beat some cocky ricer drivers at a stop light. :D

I had a silver 04 one. Got it as a graduation gift. Loved that car but got rear-ended on the highway and it was a total loss. 😢
