SHOT A BANDED DUCK ON OPENING DAY! | Duck Hunting 2023 | Nova Scotia

Duck hunting with a nice surprise during the hunting season opener! We shot a stud banded mallard on opening day! On this adventure, we travelled to a tidal marsh located on public land in Nova Scotia, Canada to kick off the 2023 waterfowl season. After a short boat ride to the area where we set up, we managed to harvest some birds. We seen hundreds of birds including geese and dozens of puddle ducks.
Guns used: Benelli Super Vinci (12 Gauge Kicks Highflyer Modified) and ATA Arms Venza (12Gauge Modified).
Ammunition Used: Kent Fasteel 2.0 (3in #3 Steel Shot).

Not very high! Not sure on the exact percentage, but out of all my years of hunting, I haven’t seen many….
