God Bless You Sir . I enjoyed listening to you and the other members of the 332nd Fighter Group on the Military Channel . I did not learn of your service in school back in the 60's and early 70's but I did later on in life . To hear what you heard upon returning home and walking down that ships plank was heart breaking . Being a white male I can only imagine your feelings but will never ever really know . Once again sir I say to you GOD BLESS YOU SIR

Anybody who knows the history of the Tuskegee Airmen can't help but love and admire these great hero's. I have thought that I would like to meet them and thank them, not only for their service to our nation but also by virtue of what they did. Caused a profound change from racist bigotry, To one of true brotherhood. I see it every day in my home town of Green Bay, WI. It is a wonderful thing to experience. We owe these men a great debt of gratitude. We brothers are going to erect a monument.

EAA 2013 I had no Idea that my desire to meet a Tuskegee airman was about to be fulfilled. There was nothing in the news about the Tuskegee Airmen being in Oshkosh. So I while at EAA I was on the prowl for a Red Tailed P-51 T shirt. I was asking a vender if they had seen anybody selling these and they suggested I go to the Tuskegee Airman to get one. Their here? Yes and they sell T-shirts and you can have it autographed. I got to meet and thank Lt. Col. Jefferson . He is a very cool guy.

He isn't black or white, he's just a great story teller and probably would be a very cool guy to just hang out with and talk to. He probably has every right to be bitter about things, but seems to keep it all in perspective and keep moving forward. Just a neat guy.

Supremacists? Certainly he is black, but when he talks about his experiences he is just a man telling his story. You know there is no reason to read between the lines of comments, because there is nothing there. I could listen to him talk for hours, and all he talks about isn't racial. His comment on anyone saying they weren't scared was a "damn liar" is nothing but a statement about all humans. Sure I can look at him and see the color of his skin, and I wouldn't expect him to loose his racial make up, because that makes him what he is, but you are reaching of you try to any to find anything I said about the man be racist. Finding racism where it isn't is almost as big of a problem as those who choose to ignore actual racism. Fight real battles, not those you have to look for.
