A proper ballistic shield has a viewport. This product does little to increase survivability, and in fact can create a false sense of security.

You are thinking of the full-size shields. This is meant to be smaller to be stored in more places.

Also, having soemthing is better than nothing. If you think this shield doesn’t offer a marked increase in survival in a situation vs having nothing, then you probably shouldn’t own a firearm. 🤘🏻
