@@mickel8265 From the earlier seasons, it’s clear that Voight got results by the hardened violence approach and this episode he refrained from doing so. It’s clear he’s trying to change because times are not like they were. That’s all I’m saying when I mean that.

Why I love this series is because Voight portrays the life of a real life policeman in real life situations. Voight is my favorite police character.

Jay acted like a jerk towards Voight, practically like kim towards Ruzek in a previous episode . Voight came a long way. And although I loved the action and all that that provided but it shows even more how Voight wants to do it the right way to ensure no loopholes anything that would overturn the investigation. Also the moment he took the shell casing from the female detective and covered for her. Well let's just say our same old Hank Voight.

not really like a jerk. Voight has a track record of doing sketchy stuff and not keeping Jay in the loop. Jay knows what Voight is capable of. He just wants to make sure he didn't cross any lines.

So long as he bumps uglies with Nicole Ari Parker's character and not this new Crazy Lisa....im okay. But shout out to the growth. The new scrutiny is real. And it shouldn't disappear but should be presented with subtle reminders. Just like Kim assuming the worst of Ruzek. Just subtle. But not 'take to the cage' condemnation lectures.
