It's basically the same frame, engine, and mechanical geometry as the Ford Ranger. I bet you could with very little modification switch the Ranger with the Bronco using the same frame. The only difference looks to be the wheel wells.

I’m shocked those prices are actually kind of reasonable. They aren’t full out trying to rape you like jeep was with the gladiator release.

I already have a Ranger so I just need the Bronco to keep it company in the garage.

When the bronco comes, test it on the Rubicon trail and see if Ford is better than Jeep.

Ford absolutely knocked it out the park with this Bronco lineup!!! They did their homework and took everything wrong with the Wrangler and things they could've made better and jammed em all into the Bronco family. I'm honestly hoping they make a Bronco truck to go up against the Gladiator. Good job Ford and great reporting Andre and the entire TFL team!!!

I work at the MAP where the bronco will roll from, and I myself love these suckers. In love in fact, I was going to get a new truck in the spring but Bronco stopped me in my tracks. We got a in person face to face look at our new SUV, its totally different in person, jaw dropping in fact. I felt in love immediately, if i didnt have a mask on you could've seen my mile wide smile. It surprised me that much that I'm waiting a year and half for my A plan to kick in and drop a 20k downpayment and get me a Badlands with a 7 speed and a 2.3L, of which I'll put a new exhaust on it and get an ECU flash from work down in garage and get me 310 horse.

Idk man I like the new Bronco, but my 2019 Ranger has been treating me too good to consider any other truck/SUV. If my main goal was to off road travel, then Bronco all the way. But as a daily driver/weekend getaway vehicle, the Ranger wins hands down. It all depends on what you're looking for in a vehicle. Personally, my 2019 FX4 package STX Ranger is plenty capable for my needs

For strictly off road? I'd say the bronco. For everything that comes your way? I'd have to say the ranger. I own a 19 blackout package ranger and I must say, 20,000 miles later with absolutely no problems. Amazing on the trails. Great fuel economy , extreamley comfortable ride. I mean the list goes on. Both I think would be great but I can definitely vouch for the ranger .

The Bronco is a beauty but for daily driving and utility I would go Ranger. It’s a nice mid size pickup and I haven’t heard about any problems with them.

That was a great overview of these two vehicles. Everybody at TFL does a good job on your videos, but you hit it out of the park on this one. I plan on buying a Ranger now, then getting a Bronco later next year when they are available. I will use them both on and off the farm plus be able to flat tow behind a motor home. If I could have both I would. I think the new Bronco is a knockout! However, I have wanted a new Ranger since they came back to N. America. The Ranger meets more of my needs and is a little more affordable with the bells and whistles I want.

I love my 2019 Ranger. The Bronco is cool, but I like having a box and over double the tow rating.

The two door looks EXACTLY like my old 1962 IH Scout. Those doors came off(they rusted off) and it had an advanced Jerry can strapped to the back as a fuel tank. But that 4cyl could could go through the woods. Chains on all four snow tires. I wish I had it back.

I have a 2021 Ranger tremor and love it. I really want to see a head to head comparison of that with the 4dr bronco. That's a video I want to see.

I'd be interested to see if those rear coilover/strut mounts are welded or bolted to the frame. The Ranger would be one heck of a machine if you could swap the rear leaf suspension for the Bronco's coil sprung suspension. It'd likely drop your tow rating, but for the offroaders if flexing is the name of the game

You know 3rd party manufacturers now have until Spring 2021 to come out with their aftermarket stuff. Shit, SEMA is going to be awesome and Bronco parts will steal the show, maybe Ranger as well?? Whats the fuel tank size on the Bronco and Ranger? I'm excited about this but I want to see larger fuel tanks or at least the options for one. It'd be nice not to have to haul extra gas in plastic jugs like I sometimes used to do with my Sierrea. Its the only thing I dislike about my Sierra by the way. 26 Gallons is just not enough for some trips and I'd like more with my around 19 mpg on the highway but as we know is way less when your on the trail.

Do you have a video that explains all the packages and trims in layman's terms? I can read specs... but what do all the specs mean for practical use?

I had a new ranger lariat 4 door 4x2 for a month, it was a rental. didn't really care for it overall. so for me in a year or two, first year vehicles aren't my thing, I'd get the bronco wildtrack. of course it'll be interesting to see how the trim levels evolve in a couple years. if I want to tow or haul I'll buy something for towing or hauling as neither the bronco and Wrangler aren't made for that

I like the great outdoors, fishing, camping, wheeling but I also like towing and spending the best bang for the buck. I think I would lean towards the Ranger although if money wasn't an issue than....

I'm certain the First Edition will still be available for those who want to buy one. Dealers snap those up. Looking at other limited production models that's come out in the last few years has me feeling if I wanted one I will be able to acquire one.

Love the Bronco but I'm not a crazy off roader anymore. Wife likes the Bronco Sport, might try and get one of those. I have a 1/2 Tom F150 4X4 that has gotten me through any off road situations camping and I pulled the 30' trailer to the site. Much more usefulness it seems. Bronco is so bad ass looking though and looks to be a real monster off road. Good job Ford. Hopefully the quality is decent.

The top European [built in S. Africa] Ranger is the 2.0 twin turbo, diesel, 10 speed auto Wildtrak. The Wildtrak Ranger has been available since about 2013 in 2.2 and 3.2 five cylinder diesel with six speed manual or automatic. I have a hard worked 2.2 turbo diesel six speed automatic. Standard spec on all models apart from the Raptor is rear leaf springs and a full one ton [2250lb] payload and a towing capacity of 3.5 tons [7700lbs]. Mine tows the legal maximum of 7700lbs, and more, very regularly. No petrol model offered in the UK. Even the Raptor has the twin turbo diesel 2.0 which really does work well with the 10 speed auto. Manual versions of most variants are still the best sellers but the 10 speed auto will probably change that quite soon, it is that good.

The 2-door Bronco would be a sweet companion to my 2015 Ford Mustang. I'm not sure about trading my 2016 Ford Edge Sport for it though. Same 2.7 V6, but the Brono has a bit more torque.

Ranger is pretty old tbh and I'd expect it being redone in 2-3 years... we've had it in this spec in the U.K. For a few years... the Bronco is omg 😲 amazing and I want to import one to the UK. 👍

I love the Bronco at the lower price points but in the upper trims I am now shopping Raptors with more room and much more HP. Most people that can afford either are most likely not going hardcore offroading regardless.

They both have more power and just as long wheel base as a 4Runner that can tow 5000lbs. Why is that? What is about the 4 runner that makes it a better tow vehicle?

i bought the ranger because it was a design from older platform .17200 miles in 14 months still happy with the decision .its paid for so its not going anywhere. truck moves out . and shifts pretty darn smooth.

Already bought the ranger in my country ..its here since 2016 and facelifted..will wait until more than 3 years for ford to find gremlins and problems..not doing the same mistake with the 2011 mustang

This Bronco, the C8 corvette and the model Y are the hottest news right now. The best thing I can say is the Bronco offers a 6 speed plus 1 (Craw;er/Off Road) Manual Transmission. Let's hope the Ranger offer's the same Manural Transmission as well.
