I think Udemy has a lot of disadvantages but for new instructors who doesn't have a solid base of followers (that's my case) it's the best option to begin with

I have few courses that are under 1 hour. They are part of much bigger course (12hr+). They are all on programming and coding. If I put this course on Udemy then should I make it free or should I charge the minimum amount $9.99. I am worried that by giving away free course will attract type of students who will never pay for the course. What has been your experience?
