Just a small reflexion that I had while playing the IS-2 recently. Maybe that's just me thinking this idk but I think the IS-2 (and also the Tiger II (P)) was fine at 6.3. It still works at 6.7 but I feel like there's better stuff to use at this BR. Perhaps I should try the regular IS-2 at 6.0 instead🤔.

When it was I never had much issues defeating one 😕. But then again, it was before the armor was buffed.

I don't see the issue. Anything above 1km sure. But those engagements are rare and easily avoidable and the 76 Jumbo is a good brawler. Far better than any is2 player could manage. They have different roles and you can't even imagine how nice a good reload and a ls stabiliser are.

@@touchgrass7834 the 76 jumbo at 6.3 can be good but not as a brawler cause the moment you see a king tiger all you can do is pray

@@Cakerdom don't agree on that one chief. Yes king tigers are pretty strong but the players that play them are usually not very aware/overconfident. They are easy to defeat and I've even gotten a nuke with my Chaffe against king tigers (killed 2 and assisted with one, rest where other kills). You can also oneshot king tigers from the front in the mg port but that can be hit or miss although it worked pretty reliably for me with the 76.

Its wrong to approach Br change 1 tank at a time. Yes Is-2 is trash compared to the King Tiger, but it will rape Tiger 1s, Panthers and Shermans all day if you move it down. Same thing is happening to the Panzer 4. Its got got a good gun (like the Is-2), but everything else is worse than its competitors (no stab, slow turret, weak turret and side armour), at the same time cant really lower it anymore. The right thing to do is to rework the whole Br system from top to bottom

This and the tiger ll p should go back to 6.3, I think it would be pretty fair and i dont think that any 5.3 will struggle penetrating the is2 lower plate or the tiger ll p turret cheeks

@@Cakerdom yeah but I mean, thats how it should be, all 5.3-5.7 german vehicles will struggle really much penetrating an american t34, with the long 75 because with the short 88 its almost impossible
