OKC is packing the paint and having that corner defender cover the roll man. This is why they are leaving the corners open, to protect against the lobs. If they change that, you’ll see the Mavs destroy the rim.

From a Mavs fan, I think this is a fair analysis for OKC. I would like to add that the Mavs being able to switch to physicality when they notice the whistle being swallowed isn't just a difference in experience. Mavs are the more the physical team, it's their preferred style, and they have been doing it this playoffs. The Mavs x Clippers series was very physical and I'd add the Mavs were surprised the first game when there was as much of a whistle as there was. Those body contact calls when Shai was driving just weren't called for anyone in the Mavs x Clippers series. The OKC series against the Pels just had closer to the regular season whistle than some of these other playoff games.

Luka playing on one leg .... Thunder need to be concerned. 😉 I don't think this is the year for the young Thunder team even if they get by the Mavs. But the future is bright with all those draft picks and a good GM in Sam Presti. But Thunder need to draft a physical center who can rebound .... Chet is great but he can also play at the 4 when they face a behemoth. Thunder should have kept Sengun rather than trading him away. Presti made a mistake on Alperen. Need to add a solid rebounder to the roster.

I don't feel like the role players for the Mavs they're going to play good the next game and also think OKC's not going to shoot as bad as they did in game two they make those shots anybody that's watch the thunder all year knows that they're very consistent team and they will come out blazing hot. OKC in 5.

But if the Mavs have spaced the floor, it’s trouble because Luka and Kyrie will start driving then love and 3s are about to get open all day!
