I kinda thought circuses were moving on from having tigers. I guess not fully. Circuses have acrobats and other features. No one would miss having wild animals there anyway. It should stop completely and immediately.

I cried watching this, Tigers are majestic, my favourite (along with the Pangolin) of all living beings on the planet. To see they still have these in circuses in today’s age is archaic! No animals should be used as a commodity and for our entertainment, this needs to stop.

I don't think their rebrand to an "animal sanctuary" is much more than a marketing stunt to avoid bad press but Chris didn't start that zoo and nor did his girlfriend so I don't think it necessarily takes away from the message here.

Having experienced first-hand the results of poor welfare of our own ex-circus tigers, Natasha and Zoppa here at the Sanctuary. We wholeheartedly support this study of tigers in travelling circuses, this showcases the urgent need for legislative reform to end such cruel practices.
