We went to Circus Circus...big mistake. We had just flown in and hoped to go to the Peppermill, but it was crowded. My 27 year-old could not find anything to eat. How can you not have any lettuce at the salad bar?? McDonald's would have been a better choice!

Girl MGM Grand exactly 21 years ago me and a couple of neighborhood friends went to go eat there because of the crab selection we could not make it home back to Los Angeles we had to stop by Urgent care first I had food poisoning really bad it was horrible so sick so that was my experience eating there never again!!

Both buffets look very unappealing and I won’t be going to either after watching your video. Before the pandemic I thought that MGM buffet was very good and at one time they offered free mimosas. At breakfast my favourites are biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash. My next trip in November I’m looking forward to trying the Palms A.Y.C.E. buffet. Thanks for another informative video. Great video and reviews! Definitely sounds like those two aren't worth the trouble! We haven't done a Las Vegas buffet in about 23 years... I don't like to feel like I have to eat more to get some extra value...

I had wondeful memories at circus circus as a child. Loved the arcade and the amusement park. Was like heaven for a kid lol. When hungry we just went to the chinatown in Vegas

I went to mgm grand buffet a few weeks ago with a myVEGAS bogo . It was absolutely delicious. They have shrunk the buffet but what they do have left they do well.

Imo mgm expects their clientele to use the bogo from the various apps. So they're catering to a $15 - $20 meal. Spent more at Johnny rockets for a basic burger, frys and soft drink.

I couldn’t help but think of the $1.25 buffet scene from “National Lampoon Vegas Vacation”. The food looked so disgusting in that scene.

I was a frequent either in the hotels before but since they begin charging for parking you have to add the price of the meal plus parking that make the deal out of the budget!

My top 5 worst buffet, not in any order is MGM, Excalibur, Silverton (lunch), Main Street ( mainly because not too much variety) and of course Circus Circus. #6 and 7 would be Luxor and Orleans. My top 5: Bacchanal, Wicked Spoon, Bellagio, M and Aria. #6 and 7 would be Southpoint and Red Rock.

We will have to wait before trying these places

Hi you two!! As always love your commentary on any and everything. When it comes to big buffets count me out. I used to like Rio' buffet back in the day, and it was mostly complimentary, the food was ok, choices huge, but just too big for me. Circus Circus and MGM, definitely not for me. I like downtown, Main Street and the Fremont. Harrah's buffet used to be great, with champagne and everything, but haven't been there in past 4 years, but they had a great buffet and it was not huge, but a nice size. Their waffles were good! Thanks for the review. Watch the cholesterol 😋. Make sure too walk every day (says my doctor). Keep it, you guys are 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!

Lol. Friends recently tried oysters like that. In the gulf… he said it tasted like if he were cleaning his fish tank and a little bit splashed in his mouth aquarium water lol he did have a bit of hot sauce on it as well.

I have been watching your videos and they are great! I like what you share and your energy is excellent. However, the two buffets' you attended I would not pay for either of them. The first buffet had items where customers had spilled gray, sauces, etc and the staff seem to not care about it. The buffet and the MGM Grand was just to expensive and not really worth $40/pp.

I like to start my buffet with cut-up fruit and always have a glass of water while eating to taste the food better. I might keep a little spinach salad or fruit salad or a cracker on the side to clear my palette of some not-so-great food during the buffet. List how much are each buffet in the drop down please.

Nay on all the desserts. Ice cream and apple pie for me. Rio used to have the best carrot cake but buffet carrot cake just tastes like spice cake to me. Blah😜

Surprised it seems like circus circus, with all its terrible reviews, was actually not that bad whereas the mgm seemed like a real pass for the price…especially if desserts aren’t your real thing. Just left Vegas. I was comped the buffet on a Thursday. Edible and the desserts are the star. Not too pricey the sign said 20+. Buffets are too much food me.

Definitely turkey and gravy for me. Buffet beef never works for me. Forgot to mention that that best big buffet I remember was at Caesars Palace. But that was long ago, my first and it was phenomenal!!!

The pretty much basic food choices at Circus Circus look pretty good. I do not like these extraordinary things those higher end buffets offer. If the basic stuff is seasoned well, I'd surely eat it. Just don't like that nobody cleans up the mess people leave behind.

Have been at both of them, but it's been a while. Still, for what they are charging now, especially MGM, I will not be going there again. I'd say the Garden Buffet at the South Point is a decent one for the price. Best value for the money, however, used to be the buffet at the M, at least in my eyes. Too bad that's a thing of the past now. 😞

To answer the question… NO.... I would not eat at Circus Circus buffet that looked disgusting..... The only item that looks sort of decent was the omelettes that were made while you waited for them

Circus circus buffet actually wasn't the worst I've tried; pretty decent considering the price. That said, Wicked Spoon buffet was a disappointment. Overcooked meats and dried out salmon didn't leave a good taste in my mouth.

I think the buffet at Main Street Station takes the cake for the worst. Service was great but the food was awful !

I had the Circus Circus buffet in the early 80s, it was 3.99 back then and was not worth it! everything tasted like dog food. only edible things were scrambled eggs and the ham off the bone and even those were poor quality. Better to have a sit down breakfast a Sadele's at Bellagio for 23.00, you get a ton of food, beautiful environment and even overlooking the conservatory. Worth 5 times these buffets which are almost as much.

Still not eating at buffets but my fav has been Bacchanal!

I’m a fan of the channel, but this video is all over the place. Given the title, I was hoping the content would be more definitive, straightforward.

The MGM buffet was bad all the way back in the 1990's, after all this time they still haven't fixed it????? We love the property, but in Vegas it's so easy to find much better buffet. We stayed at MGM for a week, in four different years in the 90's, only ate at the buffet only once. Again, great, room, pool area, and other restaurants, bars, and everything else, but that buffet is the only stain on an otherwise great property.

For the money, I think Excalibur Buffet isn't to bad. Luxor Buffet I can do without.. I tried the buffet at The Belagio this past friday and was pricey, but satisfying..

I miss the Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood. A lot of people said it sucked, but I always got it cheap and it wasn't bad to me!
