@@briantii I'd say that Savageese is good, but more of a "traditional" review in that they take it on the road and whip them around, whereas AMD only really focuses the reviews on engine,components, what is good and what is not so good. I like a mix of both types, but if I'm looking at a certain vehicle to buy, I'll go to this channel as I can get the standard car salesman pitch/review of features on just about any channel on KZfaq.

@@user-oy4cz9uo3nYeah I hear ya. I do feel like Savagegeese does a good job with reviews in that they don't sugar coat things and I learn a lot about suspension and overall construction from their lift overviews. I do like the mechanics perspective as well.

Because Ahmed is a master mechanic, this makes The Car Care Nut the best car review channel on all of KZfaq. Ahmed knows how engines work. Ahmed sees every flaw and he accurately informs his viewers. As a previous Kia/Hyundai owner, that 10,000 mile 10 year warranty doesn’t mean much if the dealerships won’t honor them. They always find excuses to not cover something trust me

@XRubenX it wasn't a suggestion. You told him to do something in a manners so it doesn't sound bad, but it does. 99% of his viewers come here to see whether the price they r about to pay is worth it, they r already aware of everything but mechanical part. You shouldn't be watching only one person's perspective, either, it limits you. But you probably already are limited (using my head). So I guess its ok. Also ur comparison is bad, changing mug to cup may not kill him but you r asking to do something he may not like, such as he probably likes his mug, so let him use his mug. Better example, buy corolla not sonata, I mean you r just driving..it doesn't matter, right? Clown Lets use our head a little ok? Omg he dropped the most anticipated video To save time: he says gear shifters and design are bad just because good looking car tends to depreciate fast and shifters can get used to Pros: good hybrid system and really good interior. I’m so happy that this Toyota mechanic actually said that. Now imma buy this shit. Id get a Camry but it is too expensive (fine by me) but got no 360 cam and HUD
@chibbyylol
@chibbyylol Ай бұрын
Is it a markup thing? The new Camry starts ~$2000 cheaper than the hybrid Sonata and tops out ~$3000 cheaper on the XSE Camry vs Limited Sonata $28,400 LE vs $30,800 SEL $34,500 XSE vs $37,200 Limited
@blackgold754
@blackgold754 Ай бұрын
@@chibbyylol sonata sel msrp is actually $27,500. It has to do a lot with markup but also availability of features. For example 360 cam, blind spot cam, and HUD are standard in limited Hyundai whereas with Camry, it’s a gamble. In my area it’s rare to have any Toyota vehicle with these features. And when they do, they cost around $43k with taxes and dealership price which totals about $47k, a price of rav4 prime xse lol. With Hyundai, the best you’ll get is $41-$42k with features that are guaranteed!!
@blackgold754
@blackgold754 Ай бұрын
@@chibbyylol also the 34,000 Camry xse does not have 360 camera and HUD just for your information. As I said, I’m okay with Toyota being around $44k but even sometimes $44k Toyota in my neighborhood doesn’t give me these features so it’s ridiculous for me to spend money on a car that gives me so less just because the prices that high is set because of taxes and dealer fees!!it’s crazy
@ishaansaral502
@ishaansaral502 Ай бұрын
@@chibbyylol They are priced similarly when you fully kit them out. Camry has a lot of packages while Sonata does not. Trim wise, XLE and XSE are not as well equipped as the Limited. Problem with Camry is going to be availability, markups, cheaper materials with worse noise isolation. Both vehicles are super efficient, though I think the Sonata is slightly more efficient at the cost of having less overall power.

I do agree that Hyundai over designs these cars sometime. I think it’s cool at first but it does lose its cool factor when you’re looking at it everyday. But I do like it better than their previous design

AMD, It was in the news today that the Altima will soon be exiting the mid-size sedan market with its tail between its legs. I wonder how long the Sonata will be around. 🤔

Up in Canada - we don't get this model which I think surprised everyone. They said the Elantra Hybrid suited that piece of the market better - which is not totally unreasonable - as they said the Elantra's front seating area is almost identical to the Honda Accord - not so (by a larger margin) in the back seat BUT still a good amount of room for most. Also, it puts like $10,000 back into your pocket (we only get the deluxe Elantra Hybrid here as well).

I agree about the shifter. When I saw you shift into Drive, my first thought was turning it that way should be for Reverse. My Mercedes has a very simple lightweight lever that is either moved up for Reverse or down for Drive, because historically that's how it would have operated. Something else that doesn't make sense is to me is, I don't see why Hyundai needs a shift stalk at all when all it has is a twist knob on the end of it. I can't see buying this version as I think when they release a new Sonata the low points of this car will have been updated.

I'll take the N-Line, the wheels are the rest of the trims look dinky. If you look at the early models from the 50's up their auto gear selectors we're honestly similar.

I don't agree with you on the futuristic looks being a negative point. If it looks like something coming from the future, it will stay modern for much longer time...McLaren F1 _ just an example that comes to my mind _ is a 24 years old design and yet it still holds up even by today standards.

Amd, I love the new "recording studio garage" but I miss seeing the actual shop! What happened to the Supra with the engine that you could never get back from the machine shop? How about a shop update video from time to time? Absolutely love these videos.. you really "get into the weeds" on the technical side, and one thing I'm coming to the conclusion on with all these manufacturers chasing government emission regulations is that I hate how over complicated and expensive cars are becoming.
