Good review but I think that's a proper factory 2019 prado but not a 2012 aftermarket facelift to 2019. I mean its so clean , compact and its dashboard is 2019 too.

I always advice people, for this vehicle, the 2.7 liter petrol engine will disappoint so bad, you will regret buying this vehicle, kwanza if it's loaded and/or on hilly terrain. Don't buy a big car with a small engine...small engines were meant for small cars.

body issue makes the Tx 2.7 slower compared to others, though it might save fuel. but not for speed.

I have owned my 2016 Toyota Prado since new. It has a 3.0 Turbo Diesel VX (with a 150 liter gas tank capacity), and it's been the best car I've ever owned. It is reliable, extremely durable, and aesthetically pleasing from any viewpoint. Saying that they aren't good highway cars is totally wrong. On China's highways, I always drive it as fast as the limit will allow and have seen no inherent weaknesses at that speed or taking corners at relatively high speeds either, thanks to the KDSS suspension system. You sound like a bit of a car snob. Put my car up against any European car, and I'll get from point A to point B faster (at normal speed limits) and much safer than they will. Also, since it's a diesel with a large capacity gas tank, I will be stopping less often than any European car on the market.

It seems you hate prado. First of all tx is not base model but gx is. Also prado was not meant for speed but offroad therefore if you need speed go for ferarri or maclaren Third 2TR engine is one of the best and reliable engine across toyota lineup and is used in 5 different models of toyota. Fourth car assesment is not done based on comfortablity alone but first is reliability Fifth prado is not a truck to carry cargo and tonnes of merchandise. The 2.7 liter engine is designed for 7 passegers and not stones or packets of cement. Thus to say is underpowered is wrong. You are using it on different purposes. Seven is rollover. Anycar is subject to rollover if ypu dont follows road signs and traffic regulation in terms of speed and cornering Thanks

The main advantage of the body on frame and the height is the off road capability.As usual Africans do not know what cars were designed for hence people buy Prados and try and use them for drag racing.

Is it possible to swap a more powerful toyota engine into the Prado ?
