This is deeper look into the DSG 7 speed gearbox issues, how to replace the mechatronic unit and the mechatronic accumulator.
Tools needed; T45 and T27 tox screw drivers, 10mm socket/wrench

Hello.. kindly share the eBay or amazon link for the said parts. I have a VW Polo V, it won’t start, so I by pass the ignition and switched it on. The car won’t go in reverse, by when I put it in drive it will move. It only engages gears 1 and 3. It even struggles to engage the third gear. Any advise or recommendations? And yes it’s flashes the the PRND

Hello there. I have a 2009 volkswagen golf tsi mk6. And it have a problem with same of the Gears... The only gear am getting is. (1,3,5, & 7,) The gears am not getting is. (2,4,6 & R.) I took is to a mechanic. This the cord i got. P176F.... WHAT IS THE PROBLEM.....??

the VW golf 7DSG - hydraulic accumulator house has been broken so will it be safe to add a repair kit instead of replacing the accumulator house? or will it be a problem if we add a repair kit?

The repair kit comes with the new rubbers and filter by the looks of it. Maybe you do not need and can just replace housing?

Hi brother i need help my 7 speed dsg has a problem during first run of the day it shifts fine from D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6 and D7 its flushes the spanner but once i stop n switch car off it goes away and drives fine the rest of the day fault that came up was P173C

Mechatronic unit needs attention. You can start with a full transmission service including new mechatronic oil.

About 30k for the accumulator and in the excess of 50k for mechatronic unit

I purchased that same kit and the problem returned just without the lost of the hydraulic oil. But when I leave the car to warm up for some time switch off the ignition and start back the symptoms temporarily goes away

Same thing for me. I had replaced the accumulator a year ago with Kinergo and now the problem comes back again. It was showing gearbox error when I start the engine. And when I turn off and start again it goes off.
