Definitely found my Niche with agriculture grants. It is what I know and it makes it easy to build out ideas and bounce from different projects. I find that I can add incites from other grants I did in the past to improve the ones I am working on now especially when they are in the same industry.

Nice video. Thank you for your insight and advice. One of my first jobs after grad school was business development for an educational nonprofit. It was an eye-opening experience about the ins and outs of competing for funding for projects. It was cutthroat and stressful. I gained a skill for sure but the burnout was real. If I do this type of writing again, I think doing it as a freelancer would be better for me. The upside to this type of work is getting the award letter from the funder. Makes all the time, sweat, sacrifice, and tears worth the effort! 😅😉🥳

My niche is maternal and child health because that's my educational background, passion area, and where I have a network. I intentionally named my business something more general so I can generalize if needed as I work to transition full time.
