Star Wars is immensely popular and its popularity will only continue to grow! So with that being said should you start to buying Star Wars cards that Topps started putting out in 1977?

I just bought a complete set 66 including 11 stickers of blue series in NM M condition for 100 bucks. Found them in a flea market tucked away in a binder.

If the Luke Skywalker number 1 is in good condition I would definitely send that one in and Vader number 7!

@@JerryPittman it would be really awesome if I could show you them an see what you think. The centering...looks great one corner looks like it got lightly dinged. Is there an app or site that can show me graded cards? Im positive this luke is at minimum an 8.

They are super low! There just isn’t many good copies out there! And I love the 1966 Batman cards!

If they are in good condition that isn't a bad price! If your Luke Skywalker came back in a good grade it would almost cover that purchase price! Thanks for watching!

I found the red series and yellow series sharp and clean for about $50 each a few days ago. The green and orange I just located with the stickers days later at another local store. I'm down to the blue series. The orange and green were mint too. I was 7 years old when these came out. My cousin Danny had stacks of the red series. My green set featured the error C3PO. I don't remember seeing the orange series as a kid. I was lucky enough to find grocery rack packs of the 1st series Empire Strikes Back a few years ago for under $20. Do NOT open the wax packs.

I have two complete sets of series 1, almost two complete sets of series two, four complete sets of series 3 plus a bunch of extra, almost three complete sets of series 4 plus a bunch of extras and almost three complete sets of series 5 with some extras. I also have a full set of all stickers from every set and almost a complete second set of stickers. I have thousands of cards from the 1980 set Empire Strikes Back and stickers too. Inheritance from my father. All my cards are in really good condition and sleeved since the 70’s. Also have sealed packs of series 2. Been trying to sell them but it’s so much I barely know where to start.

Wow!! Your dad had quite the collection! How many of the Luke Skywalker (card number 1) do you have? If they are in pretty good condition I would send them off to get graded! Higher grade ones go for thousands! Same with the Han Solo and Darth Vader! Those ones will be your true money makers!

He owned a couple comic book/card shops back in the 90’s so he had a ton! But I only have two sets of series 1 and no extras. But all of them are in good condition so I will probably get them graded but I will admit having them all together in binders looks pretty nice. But also idk if I can even send them to psa? Is there another grading company worth looking into?

Check out SGC!! There prices are a little cheaper but are considered the number 2 company behind PSA!

Hello Jerry! I need some advice. I have a box of unopened 1978 Topps 5th series orange wax packs. All packs are unopened and haven't seen daylight. Would you know what the best way to get this valued (like each wax pack, or as a box, or )? I'm really trying to figure what they may be worth. And have no clue if you could estimate a set included in a each box of 360 cards?

Good question! So good news and bad news! Will go with the bad news first. The fifth series isn't nearly sought after as the first (blue) series but (good news)... there are still a lot of people who are trying to complete this set and good condition cards from this set are super hard to find! I would just look on eBay (sold listings) for wax packs from this series and see what they are selling for! If you aren't in need of quick cash I would probably sit on the product for a while. This set is only going to get more and more popular as time goes by! Sorry it took so long to get back to you!

My father in law died and left a box of star wars and sports cards. I have all the first series cards and some in duplicates. They have not been graded they have been boxed up since 1982. I also have a ton of the empire strikes back cards. And some stickers. I’d like to sell them for obviously the most I can get out of them, what would suggest as the best place to sell these and fast?

Sorry for your lose! Your best bet is going to sell them on eBay! You could try selling it all as one lot or break the cards up into smaller lots! The big card is card number one which is Luke Skywalker!

You are right! The OPC version is more scarce but the Topps brand is what people really want!

That is a great question! Where I have bought all of mine at is at Toy and Card Shows, Comic Book Stores, and lots off of eBay!
