As a former cabbage and future( soon,hopefully) mitral valve replacement patient,I have nothing but respect and appreciation for you guys.

@@CUPOFNURSES I had the bypass 6 years ago,but went to the emergency room with a stemi back in June. 99% blocked coronary artery and severely blocked carotid artery. I now have moderate to severe mitral regurgitation. Objectively,life sucks. But considering how lucky I am to be alive,I'm nowhere close to feeling sorry for myself. The trick however,is finding a oral surgeon willing to extract 5-6 teeth this soon after a heart attack,because the thoracic surgeon will not do valve replacement until after that takes place. One step at a time.
