Should you still buy the Dyson PureCool TP00 in 2024?

Ever since these came out in 2009, I've been intrigued. This summer I was finally able to get my hands on one, and it's been the biggest let down of the year. But that doesn't mean it's for nothing. I can help you with your purchase decision!
The new DYSON TP07 does show you the air quality and such, but it's almost double the price this one is... so yeah. That's Dyson for ya, great products (although this one isn't), massive price.

I got a TP04 on an open box sale for $300 2 years ago and I swear by it. I'm at the point where I can't sleep without the unique noise it makes. I would of never bought one of these at full price. But after owning several of their products I may pony up in the future but I'll always wait for a sale first. Their support is very good too. Bought an HP01 ($150 clearance) and it started making a grinding noise and they replaced it with a brand new HP07

I really need one because i don't have my own room which idk why so also i have a gaming setup and i have been using a short stand fan under my table that barely even blows my body i only feel air on my legs but my head arms doesn't feel anything but rn i am trying to buy one dyson fan

I have used this model for years. It's ok for small rooms, the noise is like white noise. The main thing is for me it cuts down the cleaning time and that's a scarifice I made over bladed fans with stronger wind speeds. End of the day you have to decide what features is more important to you to determine its worth. At this point of fan technology development, there is still no perfect solution, so the worth is determined by what you need.

@roxyfox39 👍The filter is an easy replacement! I love my dyson fan for its easing my life. Anyone who washed one of those bladed fan covers knows its downright time-consuming.

I got it for free. The built quality feel cheap. Volume 9 and 10 noisy LOL. Feel cheap but priced expensive

This is Michael. According to every reviewer on KZfaq the Dyson's are overpriced, weak, cheaply-made, and loud. They look cool, but I won't get one for the above reasons and because it would indicate stupidity.
