The iPhone 12 mini isn't as narrow as the Fold 3. Plus, isn't it the entire point of this phone to be really small?.. I mean, it's literally in its name... It's people who want to have this really small screen who will buy this phone, why would they complain aboot it? If they didn't want a small phone, they wouldn't get the 12 mini as there are other bigger iPhone 12s

For me, I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra just for a version that has no camera on the tablet display. And if I ever needed to use a self-facing camera, I can just flip the phone over and there, I have 2 perfectly usable cameras just for that occasion

I agree with you. I'd rather wait for Fold 4 to have more compelling upgrades such as in-display finger print reader and better processor. SD888 isn't that much better than SD865 and it tends to heat up alot faster.

If you have the spen fold case just be careful I've lost mine already it becomes quite loose and it fell out somehow I was extra careful with it.

Working on it but I had to send my Fold 2 for the trade in now. What I saw with my own normal use the same. Around 4-5 hours SOT tops before the battery is dead.

Missing the point? Well this is of course just my views on it as a Fold 2 owner. Maybe so yes the price did drop a little compared to the Fold 2. But it really feels like a Fold 2S as mentioned not a true successor. Just look at the Fold 1 to Fold 2 leap, they went for cost savings. They could have done a lot more to entice Fold 2 users to upgrade, I know the trade in helps that. But a new set of cameras, wider new outer and inner screen etc. But I guess that's all set for 2022 with the Fold 4.

@@Techtablets I think this was their strategy and as harsh as it may sound they weren't catering to current fold users cause quite frankly that customer base is nothing compared to inching a bit more into main stream by making the only improvements a new user would be worried about (is it even durable) and the improvements (while subtle) conveyed 1 message; confidence. Confidence that might tempt a new user in a market of need ( no note this year) by choosing to not reinvent the wheel on this one but rather pave the road shows they took a product they could proudly stand by for a year and make it better might garner some confidence for some new users to make that leap and the potential there far outweighed catering to current fold owners. That's just my theory...... Also I pre-ordered my fold 3 the first day, coming from a note 10 plus.............. their plan is working 👀

Pretty much what most people thought when all glass phones started becoming popular. Now we're so used to them and accept the fact they're breakable it doesn't seem like a big deal. The fold 3 appears to be completely feasible in the right hands. People still have the Fold 2 as their main phone and still going strong.

Exactly why it feels like it's a Fold 2S or Fold 2 Plus. The Fold 3 should have been new larger size. 8", new set of cameras 2nd gen UDC like the ZTE Axon 30 and other changes.

But no one complains when apple does it. The multiple improvements alone is good enough to be called the fold 3. This is not just thrown together with an upgraded ecu.

@@Techtablets I think it depends on the person and the job that they do/lifestyle. That waterproofing might not be a big deal to someone in an office but someone who works outside it is a game changer.

The Filp3 looks nice but that battery size no way I could live with it. The crease you do get use to it bothered me for a while but later no worries.

I quickly forgot there was a crease when I got my fold 2. You really can't see it unless you're looking for it or in daylight.

The Huawei mate x2 which I used for a week has the wider outer screen and inner 8" it's perfect so it can be done and you'll see the Fold 4 will beike that.

@@Techtablets Talking a outward fold screen with no protection one way or another that you have to babysit. Great phone, size and form factor, but realistic, as you used it for a week, to NEVER have a chance to NOT have to worry about messing it up is beyond a compromise for ANY phone. Fold the phone along landscape axis and you end up with a wide surface duo with a solid screen instead. This is all new ground and needs time to mature, you know like the HUUUGGGGE NOTE 1 or HD2 that everyone said was too big now every phone damn near twice their size. Samsung is doing it in BEST form for protection and longevity, and improvements from Fold 1 to 3 are hardly and should not be any re-commenting on what we already know, screen size is the same outer but bumped to 120Hz, don't give it credit then knock it, we know what it is. It's an improvement ...Period. This is coming from a Iphone user since Iphone X, and android prior, but not had a Android last 3 years and now ditching IOS for the Fold 3 because it is moving forward. Just saying, nothing bad about about the F3 in every aspect is beyond better than fold 2, and if you made F2 video then leave it be and focus on whats to come not what is, just like the iphone reviewers that cry about "no fingerprint sensor" they can do it. Samsung can prob make the outer screen larger and less narrow, but do we (you) really know the cost or internal design detail to make that happen in a cost productive covid short supply parts economy? I think not. All these reviews are the same, great phone outer screen is shit, they could do better with the UD camera. pretty much it, If it was $1199 and 899 for the Zflip I guarantee the reviews would sway more to "you should buy this!" Not gonna lie, watching your videos and few others I normally don't watch because as much as they are good they are constantly going in on "this not sponsored and i am here for you but the reviews all seem the same" Yours seem personal but fresh none the less. I will never click dislike and will "speak" if dislike and not click n run like a b!&$%...."
