@phantom.wreath
@phantom.wreath Ай бұрын
@@marken816 Obviously he is jacked and would look jacked in person, but I could even make Chris look unflattering by simply adjusting the light and camera angles. Soft light and hard light can have drastic changes on your muscle definition and skin complexion. The human eye however is the best camera invented and adjusts it's aperture on its own to fit any setting. That's why your eyes adjust to the dark and some cameras can't detect shit in the dark. Source: I literally studied cinematography and have operated camera and lighting equipment.
@marken816
@marken816 Ай бұрын
@@phantom.wreath Well yeah, obviously. I had a friend complaining how he looked good posing in front of his mirror in his home, then went to the beach, had someone take a pic of him and then went home, looked at the pic and (maybe not literally) cried his eyes out. Why? He had no definition in the picture, because mobile camera + direct sunlight = bye bye abs. Even though IRL the guy had like an 8 pack. He thought that was how he looked like to others. Like I think this demonstrates how we're both right. Obviously lightning does help or worsen how you look, in pictures especially, but you're always gonna be in some kind of lightning. Might as well take the pics in the lightning that flatters you the most.
@phantom.wreath
@phantom.wreath Ай бұрын
@@marken816 I agree, I don't really lift for aesthetic anyway so it doesn't really make a difference to my workouts. I just lift to supplement my martial arts training. Besides many girls do not care for high muscle definition physiques anyway. You should let your friend know that 😂😂

CHRIS, MINMAX THIS WORKOUT. 42 minutes full upper body day 32 minute full lower body day Split each with gated moderate cardio. i came across it 25 years ago, in a book: Body-for-life by Bill Phillips Day 1 upper: chest, shoulders, back, triceps, biceps Day 2 cardio Day 3 lower: quads hams glutes Day 4 cardio Rinse repeat. But the workout itself is crucial: 4 increasing super sets of compound workout, with 30sec break in each, then after the 4th rep switch to isolation lift moderate weight to failure. Hypothetical cheat workout: ∆=30 seconds rest: BENCH: 10reps x 120lbs. ∆ 8 x 135, ∆ 6 x 150 ∆, 4 x 170. (No rest after 4th set, switch to dumbbell flyes max reps u failure or exhaustion x 25lbs) Shoulders is shoulder press store workout for 4 sets, then shoulder raises to failure. Back is pull rows with a reverse flye to finish Because triceps and biceps are mostly isolation by nature, use barbell and then supinate or rotate position using sunrise for final set. Bro you'll walk out feeling like an upper body Michelin man, inflated AF, and 4 days rest giving full heal time. 45 minutes to do it, just sightly less than twice a week. Please look for the first issue of the book to see the workout on paper! Also has heart insights, if bill Phillips is alive id love to hear your conversation with him

Bigger is not always better. Sometimes the solution is not always addition but subtraction, or maybe status quo and just maintain. Don’t get obsessed. Not everyone needs to look like he is on roids. Only people with body dysmorphia do. And lets not beat around the bush here, Mike most definitively has body dysmorphia. Its as if you ask an anorexic woman if you should go on a cut. The last person i would take advise from regarding proportions and aesthetics is an enhanced Bodybuilder. For women you might aswell have a dad bod, they prefer that to overly lean and muscular men. I think Chris is in the perfect spot.

His arms are fine aesthetically, his waist is a bit wide though. Overall just get leaner

It's a shame his delts/tri/bi's are already huge bc now he has to go through extra hell for that physique.

Thanks Hamza. I almost went fuckin insane not knowing what else to do with my time after doing all the self improvement habits as well. I always thought I’m not doing enough, but really I just needed to fill my time with something else like working, or a business. Thanks man for reminding me this.

He is the one with the most aesthetically pleasing body. I don’t know why guys want to take it the extra mile were they don’t look that good to women anymore.
