I gave up on rap at the exact same time rap gave up rapping. Its been an everlasting gobstopper of dumpster fires for years. One after another after another after another. UNTIL TOM MACDONALD. Absolute genius. I am 100% hooked on Tom and I'm in complete awe of Nova.

I started differentiating “hip hop” from “rap.” Rap = corporate garbage about bitches, bling, drugs and unaffordable housing Hip hop = individual stories with deep themes and complex lyricism. Tom brings more of the hip hop lyrics with rap beats. So. Best of both

They should work together the Dynamic Duo. Em is still a better lyricist over all imo they both have a different feel to them, But Tom is touching world issues a lot which puts him in a more needed category in these woke times.

I think sometimes his critics forget that every single thing they see and hear from these videos was created by 2-3 people max- including Tom, out of their house. Imagine throwing any other rapper and their girlfriend into a house and saying, “Let’s see what kind of song and music video you can create on your own. Start from nothing. I'm a 40 year old country boy. Usually listen to metal and old country. Over the years i have seen a couple of toms songs and liked them. Call me a poser but i saw the fake woke video and after that I fell into a hole full of tom for hours. Now I cant get enough. Nobody talks real like he does. Almost like he has been with me through the hardest times of my life. Fuckin gold! It's like a drug. I cant get enough. Nova makes amazing videos to top it off. She also got some sick ass tunes. Totally agree. Started watching Flawd's reactions when he claimed to hateTom. It was obvious (to me) that he didn't actually hate Tom but the media fed false Tom. The Tom that did not exist. Been a rollercoaster since then and I love it. My favourite moment was Flawd's first livestream with Tom and Nova dropping in, then donating. That was fkin awesome.

The imagery of "good" and "evil" on his shoulders singing in each ear during the chorus at the end is super powerful. Coming from a metalhead through and through, never could stand rap or hip hop, but man I love this guy. I've been introducing a lot of people to his videos and they all spend the rest of their time doing deep dives into his stuff. It's just that good.

So back in the day as Nova would often be broke she always knew how to make money so as a rapper herself being in South Central she would tag along and help shoot commercials. She does shoot for other artists and a commercial here and there, rarely, but with her it's budget and vibe.

This is a really good representation of how addicts struggle with that relentless inner voice we battle everyday, especially when we lay our heads down at night to sleep. No matter how good you’re doing or how positive your life is, that voice is always there lying to you trying to tear you down. Maybe that’s why this dude seems to handle the criticism from his peers and the internet rage mob so well. They can’t say shit to him that he hadn’t already heard, from himself everyday all day.

I'm blown away by Tom's talent for sure, but Nova's editing skills are otherworldly. I have been involved with several film festivals over the past decade and I have met some fantastic film makers, but Nova's editing ability is beyond anything I have seen. She has been touched by God 🔥

This is one of my favorites from Tom! It hits so HARD! When you said "beast", I was already thinking TOM IN THAT BEAST MODE AGAIN!!! Tom and Nova have known each other for 9-10 years I believe. Nova is Beyond talented in her own right! These 2 ppl are in my top 5!

One of my favorite parts of the song is close to the ending where rapper tom and demon Tom's faces swap back and forth while they sing in unison. This dude is 100% my favorite artist of all time in any genre

I personally love this song, beat, and video a lot. I have lived my whole life with Major Depression and Anxiety. This song is so true about how we feel the negatives and try to fight on with encouraging ourselves, in all honestly, we hear others speaking but it is ourselves that is our worst enemies. Especially with Depression and Anxiety :( Ty, Tom and Nova, amazing video with a big message that hopefully will help educated others on how hard it really is dealing with Depression and Anxiety on a daily basis.

I love the how he changes in size the more he pushes back in his inner talk, his anxiety, at 11:45 it's subtle but they become the same height. The details in the video are perfectly matched to the lyrics & not bullshit filler
