Perhaps, in his mind that includes poetry, prose, message, artistry, style, honesty, etc. He's the first rapper to make a dime off me since Tone Loc and the Beastie Boys (actually, they are the _only_ rappers to make a dime off me till Tom). He's different and original in all the right ways. The best part? He actually has _something to say._ He's not just running his mouth. I actively support him and Nova by buying tracks off Amazon after they drop on KZfaq. I even bought his last two CD's - and I couldn't really afford to do that easily. (The albums were released together about a month or so ago.) Tom MacDonald actually has my old ass listening to "rap" music again. 😆

Nova's talent definitely adds to the artistry of this music.

But how they lift each other and pulls through rough patches in life and come out stronger. I had given up on hiphop, because hearing about tits, ass, patron/cristal, strippers or cars got really old. And then I heard Tom and now I like well his hiphop. Still don't like the tits and ass hiphop that unfortunately still is 99% of the genre. But Tom's hiphop and seeing the positive responses to it gives me hope that there still is enough intelligent life in the world to turn this upsidedown society around!
