I have osteoarthritis in my shoulder from when I slipped on ice a few years ago, the first thing my doctor did was to just pull out this gaint cortisone needle and said I will give you a few shots into your shoulder with no explanation atall other than I might need time off work. I just walked out, my shoulder had been doing OK with some home excersise and stretches and all my doctor wanted to do was drive needles into me before even trying PT first, seemed like the medical equivalent of shoot first ask questions later. Sorry for the rant but I imagine I'm not the only one frustrated about similar treatment. Thanks for the vid, subscribed ❤

I was gonna make fun of you for looking like you’re using a filter. However, listening to what you had to say, Wow! Thank you, I turned down a steroid shot for my partial torn supraspinatus yesterday and opted to see a PT first. Your video confirms I made the right decision. Thanks!

I got the steroid shot in my shoulder three days ago. Feel like nothing ever happened. I couldn’t sleep good . Definitely could not lift . Doing everything day movement was too hard . I couldn’t even hold my son. I’m 260 6’1. %13 Body fat. I would recommend it . I noticed the difference before I even left the doctor office. Of course I’ve tried the therapy at fist didn’t work . Just always felt out of place or like something was pinching a nerve in my shoulder.

How cus you improve tissue quality for muscle injuries, muscle loss, or even fat/scarring.

Why would you want to visit a p-t. No disrespect but your videos states that an orthopedic doctor and what procedures were done to people with shoulder injuries more so the rotator cuff tears. Cortisone doesn’t help a tear.. makes it worse. PRP injections work better.
