@@basal1989 honestly it helped at first but I believe I used my shoulder too much after the injection. So after a few weeks the pain came back. But I bought this thing called the rotator reliever and within a few weeks my shoulder was in way better shape. I would recommend the rotator reliever before you try PRP The problem with my shoulder was it was too weak in the stabilizer muscles compared to my moving muscles so I kept injuring myself by straining the rotator cuff in order to fix the problem you need to strengthen the rotator cuff If I could do it all over again I would have done the rotator reliever to strengthen my rotator cup first and then did PRP afterwards. I still have a little bit of damage in my rotator cuff but I'm able to do jiu-Jitsu again and lift weights with minimal issues. I think to fix the remainder of the problem I would need to get another PRP injection

The procedure sounded way too magical when he first told me about so I'm doing my research now and it definetely seems more logical to strenghten the back before doing the PRP. Thanks for the tip

PRP and any orthobiologic injection should be performed by someone with specialized training to diagnose and perform these injections with the use of image guidance (ultrasound or fluoroscopy, depending on the area being treated). For me when I got my shoulder done with prp it took Atleast 6 weeks for the initial pain from the procedure to go down and then a few months for it to start to feel normal, this doctor claims the pain goes aaay in 2 days or a week with prp injections in an entire spine. I don’t know about all that .
