The low hanging kingpin is such a relatable problem - I go to try grinds and it feels like i'm on stilettos all of a sudden it's frickin scary!! If you make a shaving-down-your-kingpins video that would be amazing because I have no idea how to go about it and I feel like wide trucks are really up and coming as far as roller skating trends go

I just put Ridge trucks on my Panthers, and I didn't need to change anything else - not even the pivot cups. I did it for added stability cuz I'm spazzy.

I love my park setup with my wide Penny trucks, but it’s quite a different feeling to my regular setup skates for sure!

When I originally attempted switching to quads from inlines back in 2013, I stumbled across a pair of quadlines. Apparently those trucks are from a skateboard setup. I wish yall could have seen my face when you were talking about the pivot arm popping out of the cup (I had the worst time trying to learn on those skates - they actually sat for a number of years in the box before I became determined to start skating again in 2020... and I still couldn't get it then either!) I fell once and that sucker popped right out, but popped back in fairly easily. The happy ending is that the boots my quadlines were mounted with have become my derby skates (Freshie for the WIN) bc I had two pair of suregrips with the same plate and swapped the trucks. I'm still scared to take the newly mounted double wides out (they're on 100mm inline wheels and I feel seven feet tall).

3" ridge trucks fit both moxi panther standard plate and neo reactor plates!

New to roller skating. Is there anyone that experiments with a super narrow setup for interesting edging, like using aggressive inline skate wheels? The diameter is similar, but the wheels are much thinner with ~15mm contact patch.
