As a landscaper, I could talk for hours about digging shovels alone. Fancy shovels aside, the Razorback wood handle digging shovel is my all time favorite. It’s cheap, durable, perfectly balanced and has a good amount of weight without being too heavy for extended use. At $30 you can’t go wrong!

As a "professional heavy lifter and ditch digger" I've noticed the handles is always the weakest point I prefer either wood or metal handle. And a big bar does most of the work

Nice I have never used a square point shovel I always wanted one though. And I prefer wood handle much easier to grip for me except my friend destroys them every time he uses a wooden handle one.

Why isn't there a shovel with a steel handle? I broke my wooden handle shovel and I also broke my fiberglass handle shovel? I broke them trying to remove a big root from a tree stump and large rocks.

Every video I have ever seen is WRONG You should use an OVERHAND grip with the hand nearest the shovel Not An underhand grip, so you are pulling the load instead of lifting it.Then you will shovel all day without straining your back. GO & TRY IT,!
