I use a washer and a pencil/pen. Put the pen in the centre of the washer and run that up the wall.

Hi, did you reinforce the sink before fitting as mine is extremely flimsy.

a little bit as it is very very flimsy, whoever makes this has gone overboard on the weight saving to the point it is too flimsy.

i have to ask as mine has gone tits up :( my shower was great like yours but after having the heating on for a while the plastic has came away from the plywood , it bellies out when warm and goes back against the wood when cold, very annoying and a very hard job to rip it all back out again to redo it :( i put a full tube of sikaflex on each panel as well as a tube of silicone in between the sikaflex, also when it pops off it comes away from the edges also and pulls the silicone seal off so the shower is unusable, have you had your heating on yet and is it been ok ? even if i rip it all back out again im unsure as what to do with it in case i redo it and the same happens again, i did think my van was finished lol

That sounds worrying for sure. I have to confess that the van is still a work in progress and we have not had the heating running 'full chat' yet. is the sikaflex coming away from the plywood or the upvc panel? as in which part is the sikaflex still attached to? I did really rough up the back of my upvc panel with a sander to get a good 'bite', also did you seal or prime the plywood? that might be it? the ply sucked all the moisture out of the sikaflex possibly? good luck with tying to sort it out and would be interested to hear how it goes.

@@wiltshirecustomcamper7203 I'm not sure where it's come off from as the plastic is still on and I haven't pulled it off yet because I'm dreading it , I sanded the back of the saniclad also with a da sander and 80 grit disc well and truly , I never done anything with the plywood though maybe that was it , but it was stuck good for a few weeks until I put the heating on and the saniclad sort of buckled in places and sadly got worse as the days went on , instructions on the saniclad did say to leave it in the place it was going to be fitted to climatize but how can you do that in a van , I'm really at a loss as what to do about it , I do hope yours is stuck good , I even took the heating back out the shower in case it was that but it hasn't helped as it still gets warm in there without it :(

@@widget2k4 Good luck with it. have you called saniclad to ask them about it, might be worth trying if you can get past the " as you did not use our dedicated adhesive, tough titties' speech you will likely get first. keep me posted....

Oh! just thought, I did use 3mm saniclad. what was yours?

@@wiltshirecustomcamper7203 ah I think mine was 2mm as I needed more flex because mine had a bigger angle on the back wall than yours , funny thing is that was the hardest part to get to stick I had to have beams across the van pushing it on all night but that's the only part that hasn't moved funny enough
