Come along as we head to Butlin's Minehead Resort in Somerset in this vlog!
In this video we share everything we got up to during our first visit to Butlins as adults. We snagged an absolute bargain break for a Showtime Weekend in summer, a real budget holiday! We even brought some friends along for the fun :)
You'll get to see some of the facilities and entertainment on offer in the different venues, as well as a tour of our Standard Room, and of course some food. We also hired some unique transport to explore the resort and also make good use of the funfair!!

It has changed! Definitely more cube/block type buildings have appeared. I am hoping you try the higher end price accommodation at some point as would be very interested to see the comparison.

Another fun vlog, fair and honest too. We did Butlins Bognor a good 12 years ago. Like you said, it’s a cheap holiday and fun with little ones, but like you said, it’s not a peaceful walk in the woods. It is what it is, absolutely no hate, and if that’s your cup of tea then it’s a fantastic option, it just wasn’t the kind of relaxing but fun weekend away we would go for. A big plus for Bognor is that it is right on the beach which is a bonus (weather dependent), is the Minehead one near the beach? Glad you had a fun weekend, looking forward to the spa break vlog, although I know it will definitely make we want to book one 😬❤❤

Yep, definitely can understand the appeal for some people, including those who think a CP break with no entertainment is too quiet.. Both have their place. Yes Minehead has a beach, it looked ok but the weather did put us off, otherwise we might have braved it for a dip 😎

We've been to skggness butlins And you don't have to book swimming time slots and my daughter loves it there and we're going back at Easter next year

Oh that's good to hear! When did you last go? I'm wondering whether swimming slots are a new thing across all resorts, or specific to Minehead maybe 🤷♂️

Ahh fantastic, Elveden was my childhood Center Parcs! What will you get up to at Elveden this time? We just got back from Whinfell on Friday 😢 we’re going again in November but it feels ages away!

We've got some old favourites booked (adventure golf), some new activities (GLOW Badminton) and also the newly refurbished spa. I can't wait!! When and where in November? 🦌

@@RobCadenElkins ahhh yesss the new spa! Ahhh your so lucky! Well enjoy that, and I bet glow badminton will be amazing too! They do glow table tennis and pool at Elveden too I think? Adventure golf is always a good one as well, you guys inspired us to start doing that. For November we’re going to Whinfell (always Whinfell) 6th - 10th November 😊

I wanted to go Butlins but they don't allow adults alone without children booked. They cancelled my reservation 🤔

Oh really? I didn't realise that! I imagine a lot of single people would still enjoy it, so that's a shame. You'll have to convince a friend or family member to have a trip with you

Depends on the size of the party. If it's more than 4 adults you must have kids with you. I'm going next week with friends who've just had a baby, but I checked the Ts and Cs and it's 4 adults max without children
