Going centre parcs for 3rd time in February 🎉we love going when it’s cold because the outdoor pool is lovely with cold air and hot water.CANT WAIT!!!

Hi i know it might be a struggle to travel, but me and my family used to go the Sherwood Forest in Nottingham, for our two dogs, it is much more suitable for them as it’s way more flat, same stuff same everything, just flat surface

The Rocky water is what keeps me from going on a cruise! However, the food on a cruise looks good too. I love a good brekkie. I also think an Icelandic cruise would be cool!

Hey 😊 we both really liked a lot about Aurora and it felt like it catered for us really well; plenty to do and enjoy without being huge or overwhelming. Yes we would still love to do Iona or one of the newer bigger ships to try, but whenever we are looking at cruises we also seem to pick the ones that are Aurora size!

@@RobCadenElkins I wondered too, would make sense if they honoured past cruise ships. If you go on a P&O cruise again and find a Nevasa Room that would confirm it, the other ship I sailed on 😀

Woburn and longford forest are similar and seems to be a new layout they are using which is not positive imo , they are too small , compact and stingy compared to the others . The playground at elveden is huge , the one at longford is tiny and i can find better at public parks. The lighting , ambiance at the restaurants, outdoor eating areas with greenery, lighting etc are elveden compared to the 2 mentioned is huge . Waterfalls and streams walking through the centre area at elveden where longford is like a small circular area with no proper water area

How did you find the inside cabin? We’ve tended to avoid but we do have one booked next year as I struggled to justify the price jump, please tell me it wasn’t awful, ha!

Honestly, it did us fine! I was apprehensive before hand but we really spend so little time in the room and so as a place to sleep and freshen up it did us great and A LOT cheaper too. If I was offered a balcony cabin at the same price would I accept it? Of course, but I also would definitely be happy to do another inside cabin in future and save the pennies.

Whinfell was I first holiday at a centre parcs and it didn’t disappoint, our lodge was perfect the facilities on site suited us and the swimming pool area was brilliant. We are planning a stay at Sherwood location to give it a try fingers crossed we like this as well. Our lodge had an open fire place which was a nice touch especially with the setting of a forest we sat round the fire every night! The kid was hooked on the robot waiters, lol 😂 I enjoyed it too

I love the robot waiters and always feel joy when I get to pat / stroke them and they react 😂😂😂 hope you'll enjoy Sherwood, I'm sure you will! Each parc has differences but I think Sherwood and Whinfell are actually quite similar. We are headed back to Sherwood for Xmas and I can't wait!!

Obviously we like all sorts of holidays but a cruise can be great for both some relaxation and also for getting to sample different places (in theory...). Sorry to hear you had to cancel your Kefalonia trip but good news is I don't think it's going anywhere so you can always book again for the future still? Nice vlog chaps! We had a great cruise on Aurora, such a nice looking ship. We both agree that ‘Mushroom mousse’ should never have been invented!! We think inside cabins are generally just a base, and are perfect for the short cruise you’re on especially with such a good price. 😂 We subscribed to follow your journey. 😊

Ah thanks 🙏🥰 previously we enjoyed a balcony cabin and so I was a little apprehensive but actually the inside cabin provided everything we needed and we spent a lot of time in the Crows Nest enjoying the views of rain and the Channel 😂😂😂 I know the song goes "Try the grey stuff, it's delicious" but in that case THAT is a LIE 😜

Yes I was really impressed with the amount of storage space in our cabin! As for the windows, one thing I would say is that the lack of natural daylight in the morning could be a little disorientating. But on the plus side, we both slept sooo well in the pitch black

Thanks! We are booked to get back to Whinfell but not until later next year for Winter Wonderland. We would love to get up there sooner but the distance and travel is pretty big for us from North Devon 😄

Me and the wife are beginners,we went up 2 days ago via the Railway but walked back down...we are 54 and 53 respectively and in general good health... The scary thing was when we reached the top it was cold,windy and visibilty was about 10 metres and no one else seemed to be going down(only 2 out of our train of 64 walking down)... we asked a member of staff where the Llanberis path was and he told us... It was the unknown that was worrying but after the first few minutes it does just become a fairly shallow path...It probably helped that the mist was so thick as we couldnt see the drops at the top as i dont like heights... As we had never done anything like this before it was ultimately fine and took us 2 hours and 10 minutes to come down...very glad we did it...

Is the parking to unload close to the Fir lodges please? I am rubbish at parking 🙈🙈 It's our first time here. Also how long is the walk to the car park from the Fir lodges? Thank you X

You can park outside your lodge / very close to all lodges across the park when loading and unloading the car for your arrival, but then cars go back to the car park. As for the distance, Fir is the opposite side of the park to the car park and is probably a leisurely 30 mins walk. The Land Train runs a reduced timetable on changeover days, which you will receive info in your arrival pack about.
