The Fever is radioactive. Who wants to coach or play for a team where you receive nasty hate every time something doesn’t go Clark’s way? Regular people deal with bad bosses every day; they still have to produce.

@@MsGoodyTwoShoes sure produced last night. It is hard when you are double and tripled team and the rest of team can’t play 4on three or 4 on two. Teams know if they stop Clark nobody on test of Fever can beat them. For someone that people say skills don’t translate from college sure is drawing lots of defense attention. The reason I think Catlin Clark said that about "nobody is giving her advice" is BECAUSE "everytime" all the time, veteran and current WNBA players are giving Angel Reese advice and encouragement. SO, Catlin Clark obviously said THAT because she obviously feels slighted. But here's the thing, what about ALL those black NBA players and former NBA players, like LeBron James and Charles Barkley and the rest, who were/are singing Catlin Clark's praises and giving her advice? What are they, chopped liver? Truth is, Catlin Clark was comparing her relationship to veteran WNBA players and the relationship Angel Reese HAS with veteran WNBA players. You can tell that those black WNBA players are genuinely rooting for Angel Reese. Especially, since so many black NBA players and former players lined up behind Catlin Clark. Those black WNBA players and former WNBA players were left to feel like THEY " had to have" their little sister's back. And THEY are coming through FOR Angel.

C.C. fans are her worst enemies; she will have issues on every team as long as her fans continue being toxic. I do believe she is well aware of everything going on and it would be in her favor to ask them stop and let her continue to learn the game during her rookie year. Her fans, select media personalities and at times her coach pushed specific narratives that are not working out in her favor. Think about it, her coach made comments about her not being selected for the Olympics. Its extremely alarming that the COACH doesn't know the selection process, the coach had a responsibility to deaden the topic and she didn't. I am sure Boston gives her advice and at times I have seen Boston give her advice. Majority of the veterans give the rookies advice (even the ones they play against); all she has to do is listen but she doesn't seem open to it. Whatever team she plays for will experience a lot of hatred and it will make it impossible for anyone to build a bond when toxicity surrounds you. Hopefully, during the break she will have time to gather her thoughts, work on herself and release a statement to the media simply asking for grace and time for growth.

Showtyme, you mentioned what I have been saying since this all started back in 2023. Some of Caitlin Clark fans/stans are very harsh, racist, and know nothing about real basketball teamwork and how things are different on a professional level. Caitlin Clark only addressed some of the issues with her fans disrespecting her teammates and other players in the WNBA because Dijonai Carrington called her out online. And I hate to say that her comment didn't seem sincere at all. It was as if she was coached to say the "right thing"! In my personal opinion, CC should have addressed her brutally racist fans a long time ago! And not all of her fans are racist, I would go so far as to say most aren't, but there are a lot of them that only like to be toxic and spread hate using her name as a basis for their antics! They always take it too far, and to me, that is being classless! Side note: there is no way CC doesn't know what is being said on the internet because just like you, I have seen where her brother and boyfriend have liked harsh racist comments and they are people that are close to her. Either way, the $hit show needs to stop. Some of her fans will make it hard for anyone to welcome her onto another team because of how they negatively react to everything! No team wants that negative, outside noise... not even her present team, the Fever!!!❤🏀

You are so wrong! That's the other way around. Her coach is constantly throwing her under the bus. Wheeler and Mitchell never return the ball once she passes to them. You saw it yesterday. What, is she going to have to steal the ball from her own team mate to try and get a shot? I'm also sad that the media is messing with the Aliyah/Caitlin connection, because those two are amazing together when they are on. They need to revamp this team and build it around ABCC. You are right they need a coach that knows how to coach GREAT players, because that's what ABCC are. You don't become the first draft pick because you're a crappy player. How don't you need a coach? Why are we paying these coaches millions of dollars, if you can just go out and do whatever you want and take over the team. Players bring the talent and coaches harness it and direct it. They go hand in hand.

Naw, I don’t think she’s a snake… I see a young person who is facing some real adversity for the first time. Give her a break. She’s only 22. It’s not her fault she’s getting this much attention. I feel bad for the kid, but she’s going to have to suck it up and put her big girl pants on. Lebron had to endure this as an 18 year old with no dad in the house, so unfortunately, she has to wear that heavy crown when everyone has already donned you as the best.

It's a lot of things going on with this Indiana fever team 1. This franchise failed in every attempt to rebuild following the Tamika Catchings era. Firing Chrisite Sides today or tomorrow will only set things back another 7 years. 2. Indiana didn't need another ball dominate guard in CC. They needed an inside big like Cam Brink or Kamilla Cordoso to help Nalyssa Smith and Aliyah Boston. Indiana doesnt have the right personnel in terms of size and athleticism for the level of competition they face ahead of the Olympic break. Noelle Quinn have so much depth in the post position for Seattle, so of course Boston was gassed. She's a PF not a definite center. Every WNBA team is playing off of position less bigs. Not Guards. Bring Boston and Smith some help. Indiana allowed Chicago and LA to pick up two versatile post players each while they settle for one guard in CC who can't do anything defensively. The they traded the only defensive guard on the roster with Celeste Taylor.
@mytgirl123
@mytgirl123 2 күн бұрын
3. Caitlin Clark doesn't respond well when she is met with defensive aggression or when teams are giving her different looks. Seattle switched between Skylar Diggins Smith and Jordan Hurston to shut her game down. And that's going to be a continued thing as Indiana plays the Mercury Aces and Lynx. She doesn't have a scrappy hustle mentality, and much of that is due to how she was babied her entire hs and college career leading up to the WNBA where she is babied by the media. There is no drive to play competitive because no one or nothing is pushing her to that point. Reese is pushed to that point. The team lose its never any introspection on her part. The team and coach is thrown under. It's not that Sides is a bad coach CC doesnt respond well playing within a system. In Iowa she played as a star. Meanwhile her teammate Kate Martin did all the scrappy dirty work for Iowa and look how she plays with the Aces. I can see why Dawn Staley or Geno from Uconn didn't recruit her. Clark has a lot of potential but hustle and attitude makes a great player. Not ESPN or social media or NIKE

Again, only Caitlin can stop this. I feel for her because she didn’t ask for this toxic fandom. She spoke highly of Maya Moore.
