“By night one way, by day another. This shall be the norm until you find true love’s first kiss then take love’s true form.” This is the curse that turned Fiona into a hideous ogre ever night and because of this spell she is sent away by King Harold and Queen Lillian, the royals of Far Far Away and her mom and dad. In Shrek the musical, it is revealed that on Christmas Eve when Fiona was seven years old, she was sent away from her family to a tower, which was guarded by a fire breathing dragon, to await the noble prince who would rescue her and bestow her with true love’s kiss… all because of this curse, but who would do this?
